When you have to send a rakhi faster, you won’t find any cost effective way to deliver on time. It will easily cost you around 2000-2500 rs. And only a couple of couriers can help. DHL, FedEx etc. Speed Post is cheaper but will take at least 15-20 days to deliver.

I have been there. Few years ago, my wife gave me a rakhi to mail it to US which I convinently forgot. When she asked about it, I had to send the rakhi via DHL because there was only 3-4 days left and no courier could guarantee the delivery before 7 days. Paid good money but I learnt my lesson. Now I remember to mail them via simple post with 20 rs postage stamp. But it takes 20 days to reach the destination. Cheapest.

Can’t we go with any E-commerce Website?

Just read a few articles online. DRC does not have online shopping whatsoever.

If you want to go down that route then why not ask for help from one of your other friend (also living in Congo) to buy a rakhi and mail it to the person.

I send it via registered post. A little costly but confirmed delivery is must in rakhi case.
