Assuming that they do not obviously have a zillion manual checks on the millions of reports they get from different countries (languages)... I just choose dangerous reasons like 'promotes terrorisism/ violence'.

Or even worse 'sexual acts involving minors'.

But honestly, their adsense and other businesses heavily depend on 'entertainment' category content.

Thus there is hardly any hopes.

Infact I strictly control my recommendations to only the channels I subscribed to or similar content, so was not aware. But once someone suggested me to not log in into google account and browse from non chromium browsers.

Oh god! On 7-8 different occasions.. youtube itself (on the home page) recommended the pirated uploads of latest movies.

Depending on the region/ IP address I had.. it gave recommendations.

And then I browsed youtube (without logging in) and yes, again.. RRR and Drishyam and other uploads of pirated prints.

The channels have lakhs of subscribers. No action is taken on the channel.

I watched RRR for 30-35 minutes and it had been uploaded 5 hours back.

The comments section was filled with thankingthe uploaded for RRR and previous uploads.

For many comments.. there was a 🤍 heart from the channel and on some.. he replied saying: enjoy this video till 'tomorrow' then I will pull it down.

.

And i reported the channel and asked a dozen others to report the channel itself.

But nope, that channel regularly uploads. Then deletes after 24 hours.

And imagine, youtube itself recommending his uploads to us.
