Dear XXXX,
Your KYC record bearing PAN DXXXXXXXX is registered with CVL KRA.
As per SEBI guidelines, the registered email ID in KYC records needs to be validated by KRA

Received same.
Any link with Mobikwik Xtra investment?
SBI card application, they update KRA entry... also mobikwik might also initiate (not sure).
Received the same although I havent applied to anything in the last few months.
Reading from the comments above - I don't have Mobikwik account but I do have grip account!
It had an email validate link too ("To validate your email ID, click on... )... Didn't click on it. It seemed like a phishing attempt, because the link had the domain cvlindia.com & email showed cvlindia.in
Also, scammers do play with capital I & small L in their phishing emails.
I think it is zerodha. It is a cdsl depository.

I also thought it is spam hence deleted
People have raised it on Twitter too since yesterday.
To add to the chaos, the domains have been changing always!! If you have ever done CVL KRA for any broker/MF/FI in the past, search those genuine emails & check the email domain. Multiple domains by CDSL / CVL !! :/

Yeah have applied for sbi card too.
I too got this email. Do we need to take any action from our end?
So do we need to verify the mail?
I received the same email
Is it genuine or some scam? I clicked on the link & now I am worried about it.
It's genuine

Ash-D wrote:@Agnivo007 @Ash-D Credit card applications won't need CDSL / CVL KRA authentication. Credit cards are not linked to Depositories!Yeah have applied for sbi card too.
Got CKYC update notification mentioning SBI cards as requester...
I undertand CVL KRA is for depositories, maybe zerodha is doing that update before year ending as compliance and reporting...
Can anybody here call Zerodha and verify this with them..?
If you have any demat account, this process is done automatically and we are getting sms, mail
Got this message last week, check this
Mostly you will get ckyc update request in email if you opted for kyc with aadhaar otp. Please check links before entering otp.
This is official camskra site

CKYC is meant to eventually be used for every financial institution in India, it is just that SEBI made it mandatory for MFs/brokers but RBI didn't so it depends on banks/credit card company/BNPL to decide whether they want to use CKYC & whenever anybody use CKYC it goes through one of the CKYC agency in India for authentication.

Even in capital market brokers are not opening accounts based of mf completed ckyc. They are again updating it.
