Received FAKE Apple AirPods Pro from Amazon (Appario Retail Private Ltd.)

I have received Fake AirPods Pro with Magsafe case from Amazon today. Seller is Appario Retail Private Ltd. I have attached here pics to have a look at it. Strange thing is serial number is correct as per the Apple warranty check website and it is showing to activate the product. I had bought several Apple Products from the same seller in the past and never received any counterfeit products from Amazon. Please help me with your suggestions as to what can be done because Amazon do not have any replacement/refund policy on Apple products.
How do you know it is fake?
By looking at the plastic cover wrap and text fonts, anyone who has used original Apple products can Identify it clearly. I also have original Apple AirPods Pro bought last year from Apple India website and clear difference can be seen between them.

Packaging looks bad. I think they have sent you returned airpods by putting plastic sheet again.
Absolutely correct bro! Apple original packaging has high quality standards and not a cheap chinese plastic wrap as Apple specifically focus on user unboxing experience.
Anyone can search on Youtube regarding Fake and Real Apple AirPods Pro with packaging. There is a very little difference in packaging and the person who has unboxed any Apple product before can see the difference between real and fake packaging.
Apple original Airpods Pro packaging here: (Compare these images with the photos in the post and spot the difference). This clean plastic wrapping with a straight line in the middle is currently impossible for scammers to copy it.

but it may be possible that they send u used one in a fake packing bcoz original might be destroyed..
u can ask amazon for a replacement
also check with apple store with serial number to check whether its fake or not to be sure..
Over the years, i had bought nearly 15 Apple products from Amazon (Appario Retail seller) as I know that Appario is their in-house seller. I have never ever received any counterfeit Apple products from Amazon before this incident. Recently I bought Apple Watch Series 7 from Appario seller and it was 100% original. I always buy from Cloudtail India, Appario Retail sellers only on Amazon as i know these sellers are Amazon itself. I still can’t believe that Appario Retail seller can send this counterfeit product which is priced a premium.

You could just unbox and try pairing it. Fake ones won’t pair seamlessly like original ones do.

Bro it is a counterfeit product and Amazon has accepted it as a counterfeit product after verifying from the pics which I had sent to them. After that they agreed for a full refund.
Bro I received tcl tab from Appario retail with 480 logitech keyboard came along 2 days ago. It was next day delivery. They sent me used logitech keyboard since it was in offer. Now after reading this appario stories I have made replacement request 
Guys easy way to find the fake and real airpods is by seeing user manual. Fake ones have square border and real ones will have round cut border user manual. Everyone here who got airpods pro from amazon please verify this method immediately 
You can make an unboxing video for expensive items like this and just directly open and try to pair with your iPhone and check instead of crying ‘fake fake fake’ on social media and just by looking at the box. If it turns out fake, they will refund it since you have a video of it and they wouldn’t even flag your account.
First of all I would like to clear that “I am not crying.” I can deal with my problems on my own. This post is just for awareness that beware of ordering anything blindly online. I am not here to prove anything wrong or right. I would have not shared it but thought of posting it as it would make atleast some people aware regarding online shopping pros and cons. It’s upto people to accept it or let it leave.
The packaging (plastic) is not apple like. Also, even counterfeit airpods pro in market are so sophisticated that they can mimic the popup on iPhones and even display a fake serial number in iPhone settings, will also show spatial audio and ANC (both won’t work though).
I bought fake airpods pro (knowingly) from a facebook seller for Rs. 1100 about 8-10 months back and by visually inspecting, it is almost impossible to say they are fake.
Thanks for sharing your experience. These people who make counterfeit products are much smarter beyond our expectations. It’s our responsibility to make people aware regarding counterfeit products as these are almost impossible to detect as fake ones with naked eyes. You can see from the replies here too that not everyone is aware of counterfeit products and these people are easy targets for scammers who make counterfeit products.
Never buy Apple accessories from Amazon. Always buy offline. Amazon does not provide the best prices for those products anyways.
Usually this counterfeit issue does not happen on Amazon. The culprit might be someone in the Amazon warehouse itself.
you should have verified it from apple itself before returning it. In that case apple will know that what happened and will record it.
I tried this when I have purchased apple accessory from amazon last year and I was confused about the packing and apple verified that packing differs sometimes but the product was original.
I once ordered a Sony ht s20r 5.1 channel speaker system. I was in native and product was delivered in bangalore,at security. It came in a cling wrap.
Reached bangalore on the last date of return.
Was so excited to open it, but all excitement was gone after seeing the product .
Received some old zebronics 2.1 ch spkr.
At first i doubted the security.. Thinking they got almost 6 days with the product.
Later, on checking the box, realized it was a returned product. It had a unique LPXXX sticker on it.
Spoke to Amazon and they took it back.
Now the funniest part.. Pickup guy didn’t even look what’s in it.
Used to get immediate refund on pickup, this stopped after this return. Even after explaining and sharing pics.
I got this during last diwali sale from Amz
Mine came in same wrinkled plastic wrap as yours , went to apple center and they opened and confirmed it was original
now they don’t even wrap in those plastics. Only a 0.5cm strip of plastic is used to seal the box
Okay will let you know what happens at the time of pickup. BTW I have ordered a new Apple AirPods Pro but this time from Flipkart. During product delivery, I will verify it first in front of Ekart delivery boy before sharing the OTP. I will also share pics of AirPods Pro received from Flipkart to compare outer plastic wrapping with the Amazon order.
Guys Guys, please do not attack the OP. Appario may have not knowingly delivered fake, may be it a customer return and the customer scammed amazon in this case.
Also, apple products are so desirable and out of reach for many people, those tend to be counterfeited the most. The latest copies are so sophisticated that there is almost no way you can make out it is not fake. Exact same size as original, no blingy lights like earlier models, popup on iPhone when pairing, serial number shows in settings and may even checkout with apple sometimes.
For someone who has no sense of decent sound quality, they may even be conned even after hearing the same.
