Received fake honey from Amazon. But I tested/realized this after some months of order. Anything can be done?

They are not refunding / replacing saying I contacted them after 10 days (replacement period). Thing is I tested it after 2 months. Completely fake. Anything that I can do against the seller / amazon?

It is quite bleak scenario with regards to purity of honey. Even after adulterated results these companies send ‘special’ unadulterated sample for testing & claim it’s pure. I give emphasis only to random testing through a credible third party.

…I bought honey of 3-4 brands and good tested brands….and we get supply from our native village as well….so in short most of the packaged stuff is adulterated…
…but still whats the harm in eating dabur or apis honey on pancake first thing in morning

contact the company for this , they will refund / give you original honey.
Happened with me , bought Amul dahi and even it was not expired but inside it was expired and having bad smell.. immediately called them and the dealer gave a fresh packet to shopkeeper and i took it . Also got a call regarding the same from company

I think the return period of 10 days is dangerous during Covid 19. as it promotes infections, the virus now shown to be able to live upto 28 days.

So there should at least be a 30 days return window.

If they increase the return window to 30 days , and someone returns after 2 days the case would be same ,you mean to say amazon should keep a return policy of “minimum” 30 days , i.e. the customer should keep the product with him for 30 days atleast and then return ? This sounds funny, hope this is not what you mean
Or you mean to say that the customer should open the parcel after 28 days ?

Actually many other products also adulterated, may be ghee is first and honey next, milk, chilly powder,…

But now a days amazon has appointed special team for investigation of such cases and even after seeing pictures of damaged item they do not issue refund….the reason— our special team has rejected refund…be aware …
Is this change done recently? I was issued refund previously whenever my pantry order was damaged by cc itself after emailing pics

To be honest Amazon’s 10 day return policy on almost all items is very fair compared to some other online retailers.
I don’t think you can do anything here, since you ran out of the allowed return window.
Maybe you can now contact the company directly and resolve the matter.
You are not alone getting trapped in the fake honey scandal, I think they recently found out a large majority of the honey sold in the market were found to be adulterated.
