Yesterday at 8.35 pm Amazon pay balance debited 4 times with diff. amount total amounting to 3600/-.

immediately called Amazon & call was transferred to Fraud Detection team.

After verification Pay balance was de activated immediately. Team informed me it was a electricity bill payment.
Also they gave complaint no & told that we will be updating you by mail in 12 hrs.

Recd a mail at 9.45 pm that your security is compromised & you need to to set up new password & all transactions done ny other party is cancelled.
Pay balance will be reinstated within 2 to 4 working days.

issue was taken by Amazon on highest priority & solved very amicably.

Moral of the Story, ; Trust Amazon & report fraudulent transaction as soon as Possible. Also set up secondary authentication via otp to enhance security in accounts.

The world’s largest retailer, Walmart, has acquired Indian e-commerce giant, Flipkart for $16 billion and a 77% stake, reports confirmed on Wednesday. Walmart and Flipkart will remain separate brands with the goal of transitioning Flipkart to a publicly-listed, majority-owned subsidiary in the future.May 9, 2018
