I have a query on recharging via Main Balance of Prepaid Sim Cards.
Does the Main Balance have to be Top Up Balance with Unlimited Validity (Validity NA) or could it be other recharges like Rs.49/Rs.79 plans which have a fixed validity of 28 days?
So, I was thinking that instead of recharging a occassionaly used sim card (for OTP and some incoming) every month to keep it active, why not recharge it from Main Balance? For eg. Rs. 79 plan gives a Talktime of 64 for 28 days, which I could use to recharge Rs. 49 plan at the end of the validity period, and so on. Could this work?
Also if you know the USSD codes of individual networks to recharge from Main Balance, kindly post it here, so that others could benefit.

These 79,49 and other validity plans give secondary balance with limited validity and can be used only for calling, messages and data once validity will expire this balance will also expire.
You get main balance only with recharge top-ups like 10,50,100etc with no validity with exception in case of airtel rs 100 top-up
Does Rs 50 Top-up exist at all? Rs 100 Top Up is no exception. No Validity. I’m using Airtel.
I am unable to see Topup balance on MyJio anymore nor does it show when I select recharge, like before. Guys please don’t update the new version, else you won’t see eirher

In fact many recharges are not possible even with this balance also!
That promotional balance is wasted by many – they know that!
