I Bought Rs. 12k Flipkart Gift Vouchers (1k × 12) From MagicPin and Added It To My Flipkart Account..

On 9th July I Bought Motorola G8 Power Lite From Flipkart And Paid The Amount Via Flipkart Gift Vouchers… The Order Successfully Placed And Shipped On The Next Day… But When My Order Reached To The Final Destination City Flipkart Blocked My Account And Cancelled My Order Too…
And They Refunded The Amount As Flipkart Balance (Which Was My Original Payment Method)..

So, I Contacted Flipkart Customer Care Regarding This Matter And They Replied Me Like That…

We’d like to let you know that your recent order  has been cancelled as our systems have observed a trend in your purchase history that suggests that the items you’ve purchased are usually not intended for personal use. This would also mean that you will no longer be able to login to your Flipkart account.

And When I Request Them to Refund My Gift Vouchers Balances They Told

“We see that this Gift Card was not purchased using your email address. Please contact the original buyer of this Gift Card so they can help you out with details requested.”

(Whenever I Mailed Flipkart Everytime They Just Copy And Paste Their Previous Msg And Send It To Me Which Was Most Irritating Thing… )

So, I Contacted MagicPin (As I Bought All The Vouchers From MagicPin) Regarding This Issue And They Mailed Me

“Apologies for the inconvenience caused to you. Please note, the voucher was successfully added to the Flipkart account. However, the Flipkart account has been blocked from Flipkart’s end. Hence we request you to please contact Flipkart or the source woohoo for faster resolution.

woohoo Source—- Email- [email protected]…in and Phone Number – 080 67181401 Flipkart – Phone Number – 1800 208 9898 and Email – [email protected]…om

So Next I Contacted Woohoo Support Team And They Told Me To Share All The Details With My Gift Card Numbers And The Gift Card Order ID Which Was Associated With Woohoo Along With A Mail Which Was Send By MagicPin (In Where MagicPin Told Me To Contact Woohoo Team).

I Had Gift Vouchers Code But I Didn’t Have Any Order Id Which Was Associated With Woohoo… So, I Contacted MagicPin Once Again And Request Them To Send The Order Id Which Was Associated With Woohoo…

After 3-4 Days MagicPin Team Shared The Gift Vouchers Order ID With Me And Then I Shared All The Details With Woohoo Team…

After Some Days I Got a Mail From Woohoo Where They Said

"Dear Customer,

Thank you for contacting Woohoo.

Please be informed that the vouchers are cancelled by the flipkart team. Kindly contact Magic pin for further assistance on order cancellation and refund. “


After Receiving This Mail I Contacted MagicPin Again And Then They Escalates My Concern To The Finance Team And After Some Days The Initiated My Refund To The Original Payment Method (They Also Refund Magic Points)..

* I Bought Rs. 12K Vouchers From My Four MagicPin Accounts.. But I Got Refund My Money On Two Accounts… So, Again I Contacted MagicPin Regarding This Refund Issue.. This Time They Asked My Bank Account Number And Refunded The Rest Amount Via IMPS…

* The Whole Process Took Around 1 Month, So Don’t Loose Hope…

I would suggest If anyone facing this type of problem
most important step is contact flipkart with woohoo and magicpin should be in cc
so that flipkart, woohoo, and magicpin (or whatever third ) can see the problem at a time and they can decide

FK created all this mess and Woohoo & Magicpic cleaned the mess. I really wish to kick the FK team who created these stupid policies and also idiotic resellers who forced FK to do so.

12k Flipkart Gift Vouchers is a red alert! Why would someone have rs.12k worth gift voucher in their account? If you use gift voucher like how gift vouchers are supposed to be used, you would never face issues. If you use gift vouchers instead of directly paying for the item just to save some bucks, then be ready to face issues.

Can you educate me how gvs are supposed to be used?
What could be wrong in using GVs for purchases? These are meant for it… Isn’t it?
In my opinion, companies like flipkart and amazon earn big fund by selling Gvs as they get advance money to run their business.
