redmi mic issue, others can't hear on call, note 5 pro

Tried CIT test?

Try to force stop and clear data of “google” app.
Then clear the data of “phone” app which is a system app.
Afterwards don’t give mic permission to any of the google’s or any other voice support services.

Weird mic permission bugs going around on various devices and the above steps helped with some of the devices.

And last but not the least, I’d throw the garbage MI Rom away and install a great custom rom to enjoy that good hardware you paid for.

Redmi note 6 pro also same issue

Settings- Apps – System App Settings- Call settings – Incoming call settings → you can turn off the flash during incoming call.

Regarding mic, I suspect it could be hardware malfunctioning if not solved by a phone reset. There are ways to debug if the mic is latched to a particular app, but I would say not to get into that. Do a phone reset and see if it works without installing any other app. If not cleaning the bottom mic by removing the module below may work if it’s an issue of dust/debris

Try formatting it will work or remove all third party apps and try after that.
