Hey guys,

Since the AMEX referral program is up again, I am looking to apply for the AMEX MRCC card.

Please send me your offers(if any), I will go through them and apply for the card.

Also I had a query, Does AMEX offer points for travel tickets purchases? Looking for MRCC because of SBI Cashback card not offering any cashback on travel and some spends which I do a lot.

Thanks guys, Waiting for your response.

It all depends on where you will use CC. Amex MRCC can give you a return of approx 4.5% in just 10 months if you can spend 20k every month (including 4 transactions of 1500 or more). Even if you don't meet 20k in all months, you may still get a value of > 4% in 12-15 months.

But, looking at the cards you already have, I don't think you need MRCC. You are already getting 5% on most transactions.

Amex points can be used for travel booking, but the reward rate will go down drastically, unless there are some offer like the 30% return running now.

If you are still interested, you may use the following link

Your will earn 2,000 Referral Bonus Membership Rewards® points on a spend of INR 5,000 within 90 days of Cardmembership* + First Year Fee Free*

If you spend a lot on travel) hotel /flights) , as you say you do, you'd be better off with Infinia or Magnus (if burgundy Nrv can be maintained)

Get 30% points back on spending points in Amex Travel Online. This offer ends today, but you may see it every year. You may also go for transfer of points. Check their website

Yea sure,
It is sure worth it for atleast the first two years because it's fyf and can gather many points also try some fee waiver tricks for the second year.

Let's see how it goes will keep this thread updated or make a new one after some time spend with the card

I have MRCC and additional 10-11 cards. I must day I still save around 15-18k yearly by spending roughly 2 lakhs. Amex keeps giving spend offers and you can earn 1000 points for 4 - 1500 transactions and 1000 more for 20k spends monthly
