90% of sunflower oil consumed in India used to come from Ukraine. Most industrial edible oil users like biscuit and namkeen manufacturers used palm oil. Both sources have now dried up, forcing people to shift to other edible oils including soyabean oil and rice bran oil pushing up their prices. Mustard oil is not so suited for these purposes so its price have remained stable so far. This is just the trailer. The rates are expected to go up even further. Stock up for the next few months by using all possible online/cashback combinations.

Next impact will be on wheat. About 50% of international wheat supply used to come from Ukraine and Russia. Both are now stopped. Already the international prices have shot up and Indian traders are exporting like crazy. The Govt procurement of wheat in India this season so far has been about half of what happened last year. And the season will come to an end by next 15 days.

prices are changing daily. Buy atta or oil today and then buy again after a week you’ll see mehngai bht badh rahi h. Amul ne badhaya ek rupya or local doodh walo ne same day 10₹ badha diye. Dawai ki dukaan pr gya to 2-3 din ki dawai hi ni de rahe, poori strip leni padegi bs.

Sarkar se 10 kadam aage ki mehngai janta khud badha rahi h. Honesty and business ethics gye sb tel lene.

move to cold pressed oil. if you know any nearby shop buy it from there. no adulteration atlesst.

oil is still cheap in India. We can’t expect such low price for oil in developed country. It should be 1000 rs per liter.
