If there’s cooling issue get that checked for gas refill or compressor.
Normally compressor has warranty upto 10 years so get that checked

Suddenly our LG single door fridge stopped cooling. Need advice regarding repairs. As it is around 5 years old so probably out of warranty. If anyone faced similar issue, or if this problem is discussed earlier then provide your input regarding what things need to be considered regarding repairs. Thanks
is compressor is running??
if yes then might need a gas refill.
It is making sound like it is running but cooling is not there so maybe gas issue. Will get it checked from LG first. Do they charge for visit?
Relay kharab ho gaya hai.. buy inline or offline.. replace urslef.. watch google video how to do

can you check the fan inside the fridge? is it working..
normally it is placed in center where you have a vent which blows cold air
Check if some one poked Deep Fridge (Used for ice making) and made a small hole.

He might not be having that type of refrigerator

yeah that’s quite a possible thing.
Switch off for 10-12 hrs, start again and if it cools and stops again then its timer issue
Recently got same problem changed the condenser coils where gas is leaking
If compressor is running, check if it’s getting abnormally hot. That likely indicates pressure drop or refrigerant leak.
It is also a good idea to switch off for 2-3 hours and turn on again.
If the refrigerator has defrost button, ensure it is not accidentally pressed. Pressing this button will immediately put compressor to stop and let the refrigerator defrost.
If nothing works, get it checked by a technician, and if required get a second opinion.

Single door models do not have circulating fan.
Do you happen to notice any?
Op you yourself dissappear after raising query
So now to your query ,
Check whether the compressor is running, do hear some sound like Tick – Tick … the fridge is on but not cooling , then its a Relay problem situated near compressor .
My godrej fridge was in same position 2 days back ..got the relay changed for Rs.700 including fees , but if you can check and do it yourself it will cost you Rs 150 for spare part from fridge parts seller where all this technicisns get it and charge heftly.
For my fridge i researched about it and knew the problem but dint want to take risk if the spare part was not right.
But its damn easy to replace Relay part just like plugging the plugs.

Yes, I am here only, reading all the suggestions, just didn’t get the time to check the actual problem again. Will try to do diagnosis and will update soon. Thanks

Thermostat is secondary .
First Relay than Thermostat than Timer , Than condenser .
Clean the exteriors of coils once in 6 months or before if dust accumulated.
Technicians can tell many things just to extract money .
Spare parts selling gets them hefty chunk of money.
Try getting company technicians off duty that will save you atleast 50 % off visit fees mostly they charge 150 to 200 whereas via company duty they charge 400 – 500 visit fees.
just shut down or power off for 1 night or day then it’s will work fine 😇

I tried doing for 3 hours but no change, will try overnight now. Our previous Kelvinator fridge was really good. Worked for more than 25 years with minimal maintenance. Also we used to switch off in winters but these new appliances are build to last for very less years

Yes, they make money from maintenance. Smart devices is proportional to pocket burning. In few things, legacies are best

Olden days Godrej , Kelvinator , voltas were master pieces . Nowadays companies have become greedy and they themselves use substandard materials that starts detiorating in a year or two. So that yoi buy buy every 3 – 5 years there bew product.
