Starting September 6, credit cardholders in India will have the flexibility to choose their preferred card network (Mastercard, RuPay, or Visa) when applying for a new credit card or renewing an existing one.

But Still we have limited numbers of Credit cards that have Network Portability.

I have seen even popular cards like simplyclick, cashback card ,Axis ace still don't have network portability.

My request for all dimers to Post here cards that have network portability available.

Network portability ONLY POSSIBLE IF THE FINANCIAL INSTITUTION OFFERS all the network/payment processor networks:) for a particular card

For example SBI cashback and Axis Ace dont have Rupay at all, in this case

1) SBI Cashback dont have Rupay so it can't be ported

2) Axis Ace dont have Rupay so it can't be ported

Sorry to disappoint you, still the control is in the hands of financial institutions:)

this portability rule applies only, if that card offers a network you want to switch to (in this case SBI Cashback and Axis Ace, dont have rupay network, INTENTIONALLY NOT OFFERED, as its right of the financial institution for THEIR PROFITABILITY)

so simple way to find out is, ask customer care and they will tell you all the networks available for a particular card you have and you can chose one among them (i haven't tried yet, have to check this some time soon)
