I currently hold a Amazon pay credit card and a ICICI Bank savings account. I planning to close my APay card in order to get pre-approved LTF gemstone credit card. Is it possible to reapply for APay credit card in future from same Amazon account?

Yes, you can reapply for the same Amazon Pay Credit Card in the future. I have done the exact same thing. I closed my current card, opened a new Amazon account, waited for 6 months, got a pre-approved Sapphire credit card offer in iMobile, applied and got the card, then waited for 2 more months and applied for the Amazon Pay card through my new Amazon account and got that one too with same higher limit as the Sapphire card

Same Amazon account does not work?
Can you not try to check with branch for any thing they can do manually for you ?

Not sure about that. The reason why I moved to a new account was that the old account was originally created in the US and when Amazon India was launched, I started using the same account for both regions. It caused me problems down the line especially with Amazon Pay and Alexa-enabled devices. So I decided to move to a new account just for the Indian region. However, Amazon Pay Credit Card is strongly tied to an Amazon account, so I had no choice but to close the card and wait for 6 months.

I was getting an LTF gemstone dual card (Mastercard + Amex) with a high credit value. Usually, you get a very low credit limit upon just applying for an Amazon Pay Credit Card. Having an existing credit card in ICICI gives you more chances for approval for getting the Amazon card + the high credit limit is shared by all cards. So I didn’t let the opportunity go

I already have a Coral LTF Visa + Amazon Pay ICICI card. The credit limit is pretty good as well. I want to see if I can get a higher variant of the gemstone cards.
The Amazon account thing makes sense.
I just received response from ICICI Bank support team that once cancelled we cannot reapply again.
