My office distance is 3Km, and the gym/market is also 3-4Km. currently I am paying ₹22-35 per ride to Rapido for commuting to the office/gym/market.
Office = 3 Days a week (6 Rides @ ₹150-180)
Gym = 4 Days a week = 8 Rides @ ₹200
Market = 2 Days a week= 4 Rides @ ₹80-100
Total distance covered in a month = 240-280 Km
So, in total I am paying ₹400-450 a week, and monthly ₹1600-1800
Should I buy a second hand Activa scooter or any rental bikes or Rapido is still a good option? Cons of Rapido is sometime in early morning or late night shift its not available and surge pricing of ₹40 sometimes.
What you guys will suggest ..

Cycle is the best option
165 km per month.
Expecting a 50km for per litre. 4 ltr petrol= 440
Yearly Petrol cost = 5280
Yearly Maintenance cost = 3k.
Total cost 8k.
Your total rapido cost = 19200
But you have to spend 50k -60k for a second hand scooter or bike .
Intrest rate on that 50k is 3500.
So you will still save arround 7-8k. So you will need arround 4-5 years to get that 50k back. Expecting the second hand bike will retain 20% of value.
Better small distance and low cost e-bike?
How about rapido pass, does it save some bucks?
Rapido drivers are very risky, phat jati hai bhai bike pe unke peeche, saale choti se jagah mai bhi ghus jaate hai .
Why don't you buy a electric scooty, it will costs u around 40-60k(not talking about ola/ather)
For 2-3km buy a bicycle 😇 you will fit and save money too 😇
An electric (hybrid) cycle would be best option.. u can pedal if u r in the mood to be fit or can accelerate if u r tired.. even u can use pedal assist for easily cycling for long distance..
It's good investment and u can keep it forever even wen u go for an actual full fledged two wheeler...
Since it doesn't need license to drive anyone can use it in ur family in the future and no maintenance cost or insurance cost as well..
30 to 40k budget with utility baskets or bag with it will be good...

But petrol/fuel compensation (around 4k) wont be given by employer for electric vehicles?

But op didn mention anything about these allowances..
Anyway..
Mostly petrol allowances are either fixed amount monthly or reimbursement based on km u travel..
So u can still avail those.. it's like u have paid upfront for those fuel exps via investing in an electric vehicle..

Assuming u r already availing these allowances approx 4k for ur existing petrol bike..
what do u need to avail those allowances monthly..
A declaration form or actual bills ?
Or via specific prepaid cards like fuel cards?

Every month fixed amount is given for fixed km . Only rate of petrol changes . We need to submit rc for a petrol vehicle

Bro, I am getting an Activa (2015-2016) model (18000km-25000km used) for ₹25k-₹30k on OLX.
1-- What basic things should I consider while buying used bikes ? ✔️
2-- How to transfer RC in Gurgaon ?

2. It's better to purchase DL. No. Always easy to transfer.
3. Get some dealer to do the transfer thing, If you want to directly do that through the RTO office for Rs. 250- 500.
If you are looking for an Oct 2017 Pulsar 150 let me know, Selling mine in new condition.
