This year mosquitoes are exponentially larger in number. I dont know why. And even after I have put tapes on door edges, There are still 10-15 mosquitoes that I kill every morning. It’s a mystery where do they come from, even after sealing the room completely. But my bat is dying now.
Is it possible to get a Rechargeable, replaceable battery for mosquito bat? Local market does not have.

Mosquitoes : stay at home and make babies
Got it from old laptop battery..it has awesome backup now
Bro. I opened my laptop battery. It is Li-Ion 10.8V battery pack. What was your Laptop battery specs?
But my bat battery is Ni-Cd 2.4V. What was your bat battery specs?
16 or 15 ? Be specific
@Budhe You can buy any 4-volt 0.5 AH lead-acid rechargeable compact battery in the market and that can be used to replace the dying battery in the bat. I haven’t done it myself though. If you want to buy it online here is one example link of a similar product: https://www.amazon.in/Nktronics-Sealed-Battery-...
For guidance on how to do the replacement, search in youtube and see the videos. Those are pretty helpful.
Not looking for Lead battery. These are the worst and have least ampere of all. Need Li-Ion or Li-Cd. Question is why does Amazon/Flipkart does not keep the ones that are fitted in Bat?
My situation One hand mouse and one hand mosquito bat
Are those rodents giant ones?
Did you open the bat? If so, post a picture of the batteries. Mostly it will be Ni–MH batteries.
They are cheap leadacid stuff. I opened quite a few until now, and recently converted one to USB, and using a small power bank externally
Slightly out of the context: https://www.desidime.com/deals/hit-anti-mosquit...
And finally, there are li-ion based mosquito zappers available online on Amazon.

Change floor cleaner preferably one with Neem or camphor oil,u can additionally add camphor oil to you regular floor cleaner, use hot water if using a MOP BUCKET to mop the floors,if no issues with using good night roll on (anyone allergic to smell at home) use a drop or two on the curtains or evn on d wall near your exhaust fan inlet…if u have serious issues with mosquito menance try adding NEEM CAPSULE to your diet, jab KHOON hi khaara ho gayegaa toh macchar ghar par hi nahi…kahin par bhi nahin kaatenge..also you can add a spoon of rock salt to floor cleaning water..generally avoids ants etc coming in…also cleanses the house of NEGATIVE ENERGY..baaki macchar to SHAATIR HO GAYE HAIN..they are much ahead in the cycle of evolution surviving most mosquito deterrent products which only ILL effect us HOOMANS get lotsa sunlight in if possible and clean any areas of stagnated water…other than that…u hv got so many responses!! All d best to the MOSQUITOES cos they are in for MASS MURDER
SASAKE!!
Irony is the room that gets maximum sunlight has the most Macchharrs at night, as if they are getting Vitamin D in the morning & developing a boner at night to poke us with it 😏😏

Anyone suggest me a good mosquito bat
I am using 18650 and working excellent bought from local market at 50 rs.
What about a mosquito net?
Why not a new bat?
And for peaceful sleeps, nothing beats a foldable mosquito net.
Mosquito net is not practical for me.
New bat is fine but I have 3 broken bats lying with me. So was thinking of replacing their battery for 30-40 rupees instead of getting new bats for 350 rupees. No shop near me sells for less than 350.
A friend recently bought a new mosquito bat for 199 from Vishal Mega Mart & it works fine. In Delhi/NCR Vishal mega marts are easily found.

For better protection against mosquitoes use odomos or … Better use citronella oil. It really works.
Darn mosquitoes.. Went to find the ole mosquito bat but hadent used it in many years and it was all dusty and would not charge.. Looked to buy a new bat but no matter the price, the reviews were all bad for all of them..
So since I cant walk to the store to buy a new one decided to modify the one I had.. Removed the old lead acid battery and saw it was 0volts.. Those batteries will not work once they reach such voltages no matter what you do.. I had a hitachi laptop form 25 years ago..which used sony li-ion batteries… These are slightly thinner than the ones you get now.. and hold only 800mah and maybe much less now.. But after an year of sitting on the shelf it still showed 85% charge.. Yea those old old batteries do not die like the new ones.. Also you cant soldier wires onto new ones and since this is from a battery pack I cut the leads off and wrapped the wires around it and soldered it to stay in place..
I also cut the AC wires going to the circuit board and keeping track of + and -, soldered them to the same + and -ve on the battery.. This is so I could connect a circuit from old power bank circuit board to recharge them without opening it up again.. I had like 5 where sometimes the battery died and sometimes the circuit board blew up.. Found one that worked and once the wires were attached properly to the previous AC main connector which is now attacked directly to the battery, it works.. Everything seems to work.. The light, the zapper and the charging.. At least those old part came in handly..
I also use old li-ion pen light size battery to use in a everready LED light.. I pulled the spring out a little to make it fit the length since it used 2 AA batteries, the voltage is similar and the light lasts a while…. These thinner batteries are much harder to find and was from an old cannon DV-Tape camera.. Surprised that even after 20 years they still work fine..
Instead of all this circus, I soldered a USB cable to the two wires which are connected to battery, and brought out the USB. On demand, the USB goes to power bank, and I have extra juice (5V input instead of 3V) to vaporize the mosquito.
Ad hoc charging lithium batteries is dangerous.. Not only can they blow up but also can catch fire.. Even then you to watch them carefully..The heat generated can melt almost anything.. But for a Tesla car they are safe since each one is isolated and does only small damage.. Not same as when used inside a house with so much flammable stuff around.. Since most people have old power banks its so easy to pull out the circuit board and use that to charge them..
There is a reason why all Lithium batteries have built in protection circuits.. I found them in every single one except the ultra cheap Chinese toys.. Even those ear buds and such have them.. Those safety circuits are not just inside the charger.. They are inside the battery as well.. I am not sure which Li-Ion batteries have them but many do.. They are so hard to open up I did not want to bother.. But I seen pics where they have them at the top.. So it does help somewhat.. It cuts off charging at like 4.5v etc.. as its inbuilt into the battery.. But it is not optimal.. ie the battery can still cause damage without a proper charger.. and Li voltage can go to 4.45volts.. 3.7 volt is like saying AA batteries are 1.5volts.. The higher voltage means more charge.. Power banks will only charge to like 4.1volts of less than 90% so recharge cycles dont get used up..

Take the old battery remove the tape/plastic carefully (from bottom or only tear from one side) replace the batteries and tape the packet/seal it like it was earlier…
Do tell us if it improved your mosquito helicopter shots or it’s just waste of money.
They all use sealed lead acid car type batteries not nicads.. and its like 2.2volts…
Tell mosquitos that you are a senior citizen and they should visit the blood bank when feeling hungry
Odd
The mini LED/torch is working on mine
but either the swatter switch or the circuit is gone.
I am assuming that a single source of power goes to both.. the swatter and the LED light.
Not sure if repair shops handle such repairs.
Now what to do!
