Vivobook OLED K series has just about avg build quality(touchpad quality is especially below avg). Vivobook S series has a bit better build quality while vivobook pro series has much better build quality & zenbook series has the best build quality. Asus after sales service is only good if you have the accidental damage protection plan along with typical standard warranty. Never buy any asus laptop without at least 2 years extended & accidental damage protection plan(available on asuspromo.in website for 1499 & 3 years of same plan for 1999).

S14 build quality will be a problem even if maintained good?

Can you share more about build quality what points to be looked at?

none as far as I know, IPS screen max brightness in any typical laptop don't exceed 300(maybe 350) nits.

Zenbook should have at least comparable build quality to dell.

If maintained good then S14 should have no issues at least physically externally(aka hinges etc). Touch pad quality is below avg in normal vivobook series. Also, nothing can be said about internal components like motherboard or screen(many comments on fk/amazon where asus normal oled series laptop suddenly stopped working after few months or oled screen developed some issues after few months). That is why, having 2/3 years extended as well as accidental damage protection policy is must for asus laptops as their service centre usually reject any warranty claim if they find even a slight "physical damage"(like some visible minor scratch/dent on screen hinge etc) even if that has nothing to do with actual issue unless laptop is covered under accidental damage protection plan too.

That was also my initial impression but after my latest experience with asus I have reduced their reliability ranking in my opinions. In any case, having a 2/3 years extended warranty & ADP is must for any laptop nowadays whether asus or dell.
