in India?
depends on the current prime minister's long and healthy life and unwillingness to step down.
I have full faith in the government privatising even my underwear if the government remains in the same hands for another decade or more.
So yeah, why not🙂👍🏻
if more of the PPP (public private partnership) projects happen.. then many more defence secretary firms will shine even further.
Given that the current prime minister has had one of the strongest appeal among the masses ano the whole paraphernalia of perceptions management.. I have no doubts in the government not facing much hiccups in pushing though with projects.
Since you used the word 'invest', I perceive it as at-least an eight-ten years horizon or longer.
From that perspective.. I do have a positive outlook on both (the navratra type PSUs, as also the private sector enterprises). Not to mention the new firms and support industries that too would get an impetus if the sector grows in general.
but overall, I would still be more positive on FMCG, white goods manufacturers and the aspirational sector more.. than the defence sector..
because someone somewhere needs to buy the latest camera for their kaacha badam tiktok video or a car to vlog or rant from.
