Rs.3 Convenience Fees in Swiggy

From Jan 19th, Swiggy has started charging Rs.3 as Convenience Fees (even for Swiggy One customer) for every order and initially it doesn't come up in the cart but when you make the payment it says Amount has been updated and your final cart value gets increased by Rs 3, raised a query with CC but no reply for more than a week now so checking if its happening for every one, thanks..

May be for select regions? Don't see any convenience fee for food orders here (Bengaluru) but there are many complaints on twitter regarding this (past week or two)

Any way to avoid convenience fee or charges levied by Flipkart on CoD orders?
Even Amazon already has that entry in the summary, but currently zero for PoD/CoD orders.
But only a matter of time, when AmazonIN too joins the party.
