@raman12 personally i would suggest to opt for skechers, they are light weight and super comfortable.

you can check their go-run, go-walk series.

Edit : for running you can also check Asics, new Balance for more options.

Walking shoes are targeted more towards older people since they have added grip and support. Running shoes OTOH are meant to offer least resistance and lightweight so you forgo grip. I use a Puna Hybrid which is a crossover between the two.

you did 15- 30mins run for atleast 7 times/days in last 6months then running shoes else go for walking shoes.

if your running plan came to mind while looking at running shoes then sorry not gonna happen in future too.

Tbh not much difference for most people. Get the best you like.

Buy Run-100 from Decathlon cost only ₹900. Amazingly lightweight.. it easily outdones bigger brands  when comes to comfort, grip, breathability.. also price doesn’t changes unlike other brands.

My +1 for Quechua running shoes from Dctlon.

An awkward suggestion from my side is wear double socks (instead of putting Scholl’s insole) while running.

I feel lightweight shoes like the Sketcher ones are good for walking only. Good running shoes as well as trekking shoes will come with more weight. Also, worst shoes to buy are cheap football shoes with their hairy-pointy bottoms, something or the other gets stuck in between and that repulsive uneasiness goes to top crawling through the spine 🤮
