Small Doubt !! HDFC Times Point Debit Card Is Also Eligible For 5% Gv Through Smartbuy Gyftr ??
If Yes Will Inform Bestie Frnd.
How 5% Cashback Will Be Credited ?? To Bank Or Any Other Wallet ??
As you are aware by now, starting 7th. April 23, RuPay Platinum DC holders can only have 20% upto 100 discount on minimum bill payments of 129. Add money offer has ceased...
Now, let's assume that you have a CC like HDFC Millennia or HDFC DC that gives 5% on aPay bill payments or allows buying buying aPay GV at 5% (many use this route to pay bills)...
Suppose you have an electricity bill of 4000...
1. If you only pay through GV at 5%, then discount = 200
2. aPay balance : 0, Now add 3.5k GV at 5% and pay rest through Rupay Platinum card at 20%
Discount = 175+100=275
Now suppose you have a broadband bill of 800...
1. If you only pay through GV at 5%, then discount = 40
2. aPay balance : 0, Now add 300 GV at 5% and pay rest through Rupay Platinum card at 20%
Discount = 15 + 100 = 115
So, hope you understood the "economics"... correct me if I goofed up something.

Idea is good, only problem is we will have to have limited apay balance best if 0, so that only needed amount can be loaded. Mostly for the convenience we keep additional apay balance, it comes handy for minor orders or for sub&save etc..
bhailog, rupay ka new offer t&c share kar sakte ho kya?

Or one can use the temporary order trick to hold extra Amazon balance in that fake order and cancel the order post utilising the Bill Pay offer 😉 [No need for fresh Amazon a/c]
P.s : Always order products that have a delivery timeframe of more than 2 days, so that it doesn't gets packed or shipped by the time you cancel. [Fake Order Tip]

Good idea! But those who have Axis Airtel CC should utilize that first for recharges/bill payments
Rupay offer works for LIC/Insurance payments?

RohitJain1 wrote:Doing this often will result in flagging of your acc & then one day when you really need to replace/refund some expensive item or became a victim of fraud by seller/warehouse personnel/delivery guy then your case will be rejected just like that. Also, this applies to all your accs(never think for a second that amazon does not know about all your multiple accs).Or one can use the temporary order trick to hold extra Amazon balance in that fake order and cancel the order post utilising the Bill Pay offer 😉 [No need for fresh Amazon a/c]

@guest_999 @RohitJain1 Don't fall for this as suggest by guest999, AZ account will bet banned or blocked, one cannot do this every month for the sake of it... instead try creating a dedicated billpay AZ account with a different mobile number/email.
@Agnivo007 Ok nice trick. But I am out of touch with which cards give 5% on buying Amazon Pay gift card. Can we have an updated list for April 2023?

What I meant here was create an order and then cancel immediately say within 2-3 mins. I guess that's safe imo ! 😀
Can we pay electricity bill in multiples of 500?
So if bill is 1300, then pay 500+ 500+300 using 3 different rupay cards?

I don't think most companies or BBPS support that, even paying in monthly mode is not supported for quarterly aggregate bills (eg- WBSEDCL)

I am planning to try with BESCOM tomorrow. Bengaluru electricity board. Amazon pay seems to have the option to enter a custom amount different from what's billed

Doing this for last one year for BoB & Indusind bill payment offers.
Thought everyone knew this.
So, it's Friday... how many of you used the new billpay offer?
Can someone please help me with the link for the applicable cards for this offer and also the process to apply?
Oh agree with you. forgot to mention bill pay discount works on ₹129 or more. Working multiple times till you utilise 20% upto ₹100
