Salary deduction/ Layoff from co?

In my area
- Many paid full month salaries of march
- Many paid 21-22 days salary to staff. To avoid minimum wages issue with labour they converted the 21-22 days overtime hours to balance 9 days salary. So they paid only 21 days salary but books will show full 30 days salary.
- Few didn’t pay March salary at all.

Coming to April
- None in my knowledge who has paid salary.
- Owners are writing to Industrial Associations to ask PF/ESI Dept to pay salaries from the employer contribution collected over the years and they won’t pay anything now.
- If some employee/labour is asking for salary, they are being told to leave.

That’s why you see many state governments abolishing labour laws because they have to somehow compensate the losses (fictional, which they couldn’t earn) of industry and for which they don’t see any option other than sucking blood of labour class.

PS – Mine is an Industrial Town.

Got full salary for march and April
But they had deducted 1day salary each month and 20% it during these times also

Heard about Kajaria, ICICI bank , HDFC Bank nbfc arm also salary cut. Economy heading towards downturn

My brother’s company is deducting 20% salary from March, 2020 to the rest of the year
His company is export house based in Noida.

Pharmaceutical/Healthcare cos is not taking any salary cut u think so as they are in focus !!

I am in oil and gas sector. Merit increments got cancelled this year and 15% salary cut for 2 months in my company.

i am a student but my front door neighbour is HR head of a company making Tiles. they deducted 7 days worth salary in march but in books the displayed it as salary cut for leaves taken by employees in 1-21st march. For april they are paying 50% salary to all of the staff but they will deduct 5% of the salary for next 10 months. Also no raise in salaries this year.
Earlier It was very common for employees to give resignation to get salary raise, my neighbour told me that in last 3 years they have never accepted any resignation like this and have always gave a raise in salary. In march they recieved 21 resgnations like this and on 30th march the director instructed to accept them all.

Got full salary of March and in April Got 15% Increment in salary, Salary has to be come yet, Industry – E-Visa project Under Bureau of Immigration India

My dad paid full salaries to our workers though we haven’t operated in April.

What about like me who is unemployed ??😢😢😢

Month later in 1st week of May they laid of many other people too

Got EMIS flowing and bank balance nil, Dont know whats bank’s strategy on recovery as I might get sued and arrested for non payment
