Samsung Technical Support for Washing Machine : Asking for Rs. 1700

My washing machine is more thank 3 years old and after a smooth service of 3 and half years it suddenly showing technical errors.
I contacted Samsung customer care support and they are saying technician will come but if he fixes this without any parts fault, it will charge Rs. 450.
If any faulty equipment found then extra charges for change will be charged.
Now the technician came and found a valve is damaged and he is saying total cost will be =(1000+650)=1650.
So, Guys can you help regarding the cost of fixing the issue ? is Samsung charging over price ?

Yes, i think they should.
yes bro their charges are correct . Part charges are not available with customer care and directly samsung technician will tell u after visiting.. same is with ac and refrigerator.
but u must always try from local technician first bcoz they will charge less.
but sometimes i feel like if local techs make dispute with original using duplicate parts so

seems , regular charges of authorized service center , you can check with local technician too … they might quote lesser .
but good service gives peace of mind .
