Sbi card team has gone to deep sleep......[ regarding sbi cashback card application]

same thing happened for me... applied somehwhere in first week of september... complete offline KYC.. and N number of telephone verifications , finally today received Virtual card... and got an SMS that card is also dispatched.

Lol.. applied on 4th sep.. nothing happened.. not even vkyc and no call..online shows application number wrong.. customer care team says application under process.. Hail Sbi

Skip for now. Most applications of existing card holders are being rejected.

People not even getting this card approved while holding other sbi cards with 1 lakh+ limit & you expect them to convert your existing card to this

I Won't apply again or upgrade. Don't know if upgrade possible in SBI.

Applied in September 1st week. Vkyc done, few verification calls done... still card status ' under process '. PS: existing sbi card holder

Same here... Even after complaint to nodal officer... He asked for time till 17th oct... Also gave reference number lets see what happens.. Mostly it will be rejected as my application will have special focus now

Because I work from home and am self-employed (internet blogger, not incorporated) but showed them ITRs and everything, mine is approved only on the condition that I put up a business signboard on my home/residence flat. I said no thanks. 😂 Already have SimplyClick which I will close in December.

So u got final approval after putting the sign /baord... Or they are saying to put sign/board then only they will approve.??

I have applied on sep 5th, approved on same day, card dispatched on 15th sept with reference no but not delivered till now, reference no says no record found

That's a long story bro. Escalated till PNO level and got virtual card 2 days back.

I applied for SBI cashback card about 2 weeks ago. Agent said documentation not needed. Just Application form needs to be signed and adhaar verification which was done with 3-4 days. Then phone verification of all details from Delhi call center.. Done almost 10 days back. Now complete silence. The agent mentioned that there is a huge demand for this new card and SBI is rejecting for smallest of issues. they are re-doing verification multiple times and even after everything goes right, people not receiving card.

I guess, they are over target for issuing cashback card. It's not a simple case of issuing and printing a new card, they need to see the budget allocation for cashback and utilisation wrt other cards as well.

Nope the application status says approved pending further documentation, one of which is the requirement to put up a business signboard otherwise it will be rejected. To which I told them, ok I don't want it then.

It shows approved pending further documentation in application status and in YONO app credit cards section. But they told about business signboard requirement over phone before coming for physical verification to save themselves a visit.

When I got my SimplyClick last year (unsecured), it was pre-approved, required me to just visit branch once and it came home in a few days with 1.3 lakh limit. (Probably because of huge balance in savings account then and lots of FDs and mutual fund investments in SBI). When I told how I got SimplyClick, they said policies have been tightened for Cashback card.

Just say I have the board.... Currently there is so much applications that they are unable to send people even for kyc... Even the local agents call and prepare you to face the final call... According to them always be affirmative of sign board, gst number.... That u have them.. Nobody is going to verify it.... 

Problem is if u say no... U are easy for them to filter out... That is what they are doing currently to clear the backlog of applications...

Don’t push much. One of my friend kept nagging them and his application got rejected.

He has good cibil and already holds 2 SBI cards.

I just complained once... To nodal officer.. Not pno.... As I have heard they put ur application on hold if it crosses 30 days.... So since it has a service request number now.. They will do something

Finally, I got approved message. I can see few digits of the card number. I don't know how to see the virtual card. Came with just 1L limit
