Hi folks,
Needed one info: I had applied for a SBI card and finally got it approved and it’s dispatched and even got the virtual card and login registration; I wanted to see which exact variant I will be receiving; Is it possible to see which variant of the card I hold, from the app itself ? I tried to check but can’t seem to find the name mentioned anywhere.

Dude, SBI is famous for changing the variant internally from what you have applied for; I applied for X card, they put Y variant in form, got verification call for Z variant and then I told them that I need X variant only; so I have no idea which variant are they finally gonna deliver 
I can see the limit, but not the variant in the app (it’s showing virtual card as of now).
Mention first 4 digits, we can guess from that series

Waow, these SBI guys are epic; finally they got the right card variant, BUT they messed up My Name itself 
I had filled the correct name online as well in form + given them 3 ID proofs (pan+aadhar+dl), and still they managed to mess this simple thing.
Now I need to get this rectified 
God knows what stuff they are smoking nowadays 
SBI is largest public sector crap
Upi down from yesterday nighr but RBI is not gonna take action as it did for HDFC
They sent my debit card on current address with pin code of permanent address
And then everything else on permanent address instead of current address
You only had applied for it right?
Then how come we would know your card type ?
SBI card app does show the variant and the card limit too if i am not wrong. Do check your email box too.
