all of this devaluation is fine, just they should make this card eligible for the entire offer of the sale on amazon /Flipkart (10%), rather than giving 5% cash back at later date. I have axis flipkart LTF, amazon icici, and now tata neu infinity LTF.. why will I keep a paid cashback card now that too with a monthly cap of just 5k?

Upto 30k per month Amazon limit though.

Revision of benefits on CASHBACK SBI Card:
With effect from 01 May 2023, following changes will be applicable on your CASHBACK SBI Card.
   
Cashback will not be applicable on following additional categories, apart from existing exclusions: Jewelry, School & Educational Services, Utilities, Insurance Services, Railways, Card, Gift, Novelty & Souvenir Shops, and Member Financial Institution/Quasi Cash.
   
Maximum Cashback that can be earned on online & offline spends in a statement cycle will be capped at ₹5,000.
   
Complimentary Domestic Airport Lounge benefit will be discontinued.

Avoid Transactions from GYFTR for purchasing gift cards from Cashback SBI Card from 1st May 23.

Please share all websites and apps that sell gift cards (especially Amazon Pay GV) and do not have MCC 5947.

yesterday the card was approved with 20k limit and 999+gst. if 2lac spent fees will be waived. I pay insurance, light bills, online shopping all from credit cards. please guide how to get maximum cashback from this card. is there any detailed thread for sbi cashback card on dd.

Reversal of Annual Fee on reaching annual spends of ₹2 Lakh in a membership year

As it was first year free, so this year spends are not counted.
so does it mean that next year we will be charged annual fees and then if we reach 2l in next year spends then only it will reverse?

Its time now to invest the cashback earned into buying sbicards shares.   😜😉

When I had applied for the card, then only it was mentioned 5k would be the monthly limit.

What effin online transactions can you even fucking do with all these exclusions? Someone create a website just to pay money to your own account lol. There's no way to get 5% at anything at this point 

With so much devaluation and card not giving any sbi card offers during sales, this will be a huge blow to customers.

Strangely with no change (decrease) in annual fees and so many categories not giving any cashback, there will be less takers and most will close the card prior to completing one year.

Have fun till april and then try closing. With so many closure calls, SBI might change this to LTF.

Now, if they reduce their annual fee it to 499, I'll apply.
