New Updatehttps://www.desidime.com/discussions/sbi-cashba...

Cashback for this card is calculated as given below :

Cashback amount(5%category) = 4% of txn_amount (excluding paise) + 1% of txn_amount (excluding paise)

Example : if txn_amount = 685

4% of 685 = 27.4, consider only 27

1% of 685 = 6.85, consider only 6

total cashback = 27+6 = 33

Cashback amount(1%category)=1% of txn_amount (excluding paise)

1% of 685 = 6.85, consider only 6, total cashback = 6 rs.

I've been completely locked out of my sbi card account , they don't let me login to the app , nor the website. Their helpline number is not telling me the option to talk to someone , if anyone can tell me the combo with which i could do so please help.

I login to sbicard first and keep the session alive while making a txn. If the card gets blocked I usually get a call instantly to unblock it else the portal dashboard sometimes show option to unblock it. Just an otp verification and it gets unblocked instantly.
You can try this on a hit and trial basis but worth taking chance rather than getting completely locked out.

Is MCC 6300 defined under exclusions by SBI tnc? I don't think I saw it last time (few days ago). If that is so, that marks devaluation within a week of launching! @IndianDimer

MCC 6300 is insurance premiums and payment.

Many got virtual card details.

Anyway now I can see it in Mobile app.

Got 1% for snapay transaction. So they are detecting it as utility.

AFAI remember, It's not excluded but it's counted as utility so only 1% cashback instead of 5%.

Will go through again

1% is for offline purchases, unless there's some offer running for SBI cc, you'll get 1%.
