I am shocked or rather surprised, today when i paid my tata titanium card (sbi) bill, i instantly received the confirmation from tata of receipt of payment.
It is so unpredictable, earlier it used to take upto 7 working days for icici and amex cards.
I hope it has improved for all the cards.

For which cards have u experienced this quick payment confirmation. Otherwise m bit skeptical and would pay atleast 5 working days in advance for my icici card.
Mobikwik is also processing SBI card bill payments instantly.

I can confirm for sbi cards but you can try with a Rs.100 payment to icici card & if it works like sbi card then you will see the payment credited message within 5 minutes.
My payments made before 3 days are yet to get credited (Axis, ICICI) and a payment today is in similar lines (axis).
So bottom line, do not rely on any ones’ kundali. Pay atleast 5 days before due date, keep peace.
For me, SBI payment was instantly settled.
ICICI payment was also instantly settled.
From 1st December NEFT working 24 hour 365 days.
May I ask why you guys use HDFCBillPay and not Amazon, most credit card bills are settled in same day on Amazon right ? Any offers on HDFCBillPay ?
I read somehwere there is discount of Rs:50/- if we pay CC bill through HDFC bill Pay.Is it only applicable for HDFC Debit card or can we use any other card to get cashback?

I paid 70000 bill on 16th December for Icici credit card through bill pay , until now it is not credited , whom should I contact ?

Paying cc bill though HDFC bill pay gives 1% cashback in the HDFC account upto Rs 750 using platinum debit cards.

You may contact icici customer support over chat on imobile app and also raise complaint in hdfc billpay portal. Dont worry once it gets credited it will show date of transaction as date on which u made the actual payment.

Yes but there is no guarantee that the payment won’t be reversed. It happened to me for a sbi payment, got the money back after almost 3 weeks & sbi just washed off their hands by saying they didn’t receive any money after making me wait for days while raising complaint on hdfc further took days to settle.

I did not try yesterday. I paid my bills (SBI, Amex, ICICI and Axis) in the first week of this month, did not face any issue then.
Hi, I am unable to see debit card option while paying CC bills from HDFC bill pay on mobile app. Sadly doesn’t work for me on website.
Is this way to use debit card and get CB is over ? @Snikeus
I can still see debit card option in both net banking and mobile app bill pay section

Now it is instant so can’t say what will happen in case of payment failure as usually in case of instant payments a failed transaction usually means confirmed reversal within a day or two. Earlier when it took 3 days for payment to credit from hdfc billpay to sbi card, if your payment is not showing as credited in sbi card then assume around a month delay for getting the refund from hdfc(sbi won’t help a bit in such matter, at least that was the case in my situation for a stuck payment of around 11k) & I think my case was resolved only after I raised complaint both in hdfc billpay page(raise dispute) & hdfc grievance form submit page.
