Sbi is offering me 2nd credit card

Sbi card won’t be free of charge. Assuming you get another card. It will definitely have atleast a fee of 500( assuming you get a higher variant, if it is lower, then the rewards value might be lower too in that case it’s of almost no use) and you will require to spend 1L on that card to make the fee reversed. If you think you can spend at least 2L a year(1L for simply click and 1L for the new card) only then there is use for this card. I do not see any reason to have another card but then if you can make use of it fully, then you can definitely go for it.

you should always look for card based on ur spend and what kind of rewards ur looking for. if its just simple cashback you go for that but if ur spend is high and diversified a card like amex platinum travel can give you benefit up to 30k if ur spend is above 4lac in a year, and always try carrying multiple bank cards to reach top tier cards. If your spend is high ,annual fees is just and investment which can multiply ur benefits

i already have amex mrcc thats y asked.. in mrcc for spending 4 lakhs hardly we get 12000+8000 points i.e. 7000 statement credit .. too less

SBI splits limit for 2nd card.
So if you have 1L right now on SimplyClick, it will be split for 2nd card.
Try to get Octane only if you have fuel expenses and if you have a BPCL outlet where you can redeem points for fuel.
So does that mean 50k-50k limit for both cards?
Yes discontinued. Confirmed by my nearest branch.
Reason is that unnati scheme may not be profitable for bank as the customer could use the card for 4 years and cancel it at last moment.
having bad experience with SBI, but wife’s CITI and HDFC both receive regulars Limit increase both are at 2-2.25 lac limits, surpricingly last month got Amex which got limit of 4lac,
they changed the value of the offer last month still they are offering ,
