There isn’t any other good card besides that.
Ola sbi gives 7% on Ola if you use Ola then get this.

Sbi card won’t be free of charge. Assuming you get another card. It will definitely have atleast a fee of 500( assuming you get a higher variant, if it is lower, then the rewards value might be lower too in that case it’s of almost no use) and you will require to spend 1L on that card to make the fee reversed. If you think you can spend at least 2L a year(1L for simply click and 1L for the new card) only then there is use for this card. I do not see any reason to have another card but then if you can make use of it fully, then you can definitely go for it.

Is there any CC from SBI which is offered LTF? Just looking to have SBI CC for the offers when there are on Amazon or flipkart.

you should always look for card based on ur spend and what kind of rewards ur looking for. if its just simple cashback you go for that but if ur spend is high and diversified a card like amex platinum travel can give you benefit up to 30k if ur spend is above 4lac in a year, and always try carrying multiple bank cards to reach top tier cards. If your spend is high ,annual fees is just and investment which can multiply ur benefits

SBI splits limit for 2nd card.
So if you have 1L right now on SimplyClick, it will be split for 2nd card.
Try to get Octane only if you have fuel expenses and if you have a BPCL outlet where you can redeem points for fuel.

Yes discontinued. Confirmed by my nearest branch.
Reason is that unnati scheme may not be profitable for bank as the customer could use the card for 4 years and cancel it at last moment.

So does that mean 50k-50k limit for both cards?

This is the latest development (effective mid 2020).
I too have 2 cards from them without splitting the limit.

1. You take one card , they give limit
2. You ask for limit jncrease months but they dont comply
3. Apply for new card from same bank you get new card and new limit
4. Old card and limit temain unchanged
5. Strange Bank of India

1. I take citi rewards card , they give 40k limit in 2013
2. I ask for limit increase after years but they dont comply
3. Apply for new card from same bank i get new card and new limit
4. Old card and limit remain unchanged
5. Welcome to Citi bank (FYI, one of the top banks from USA)

P.S: On a serious note, this usually happens with most of the banks. It is often called as the “curse of first credit card” , where your limits won’t be increased for your first credit card, even after 10 years of good terms.

Same goes with amazon pay , they dis not gave it to me when i wanted now i lost inteest as there are better options avalable

Use mrcc for 1.5lac + spend offers only.
It doesn’t make sense shifting all spends to a single card unless its a top level card like infinia/dcb.
