SBI Card has devalued their reward points. Earlier, you would get a 1k Amazon voucher for 4000 points but now, it is 6800 points. As a result, the SBI Simply Click card is no longer attractive as it gives only 0.7% reward for all online transactions and 1.5% for amazon. Earlier it was 1.25% of all online transactions and 2.5% for amazon.
Going to.close simply click now bhaad mein jao SBI 
Just checked in simplysave card rewards page. Amazon 1000 voucher is 8000 points.
Applied for axis ace card and got approved immediately.
Now can someone help me the process to close this sbi card?
Call cc and inform them to close
Max redeem per request is 40K points (10K amazon gv)
I redeemed my40K + 24K points
Call 1860 500 1290 → select lang 1for english → press 1 for card → enter dob ddmmyyyy → agent will pick up call – > say you want to redeem reward points → how much → all off it.
wait 2 mins→ request success you will receive by 5 jan

- IVR :- Press 1 for English
– Me :- Presses 1
- IVR :- For information on your card press 1
- Me :- Presses 1
- IVR :- Please wait while we transfer your call. You are ahead of queue! You are ahead of queue! The estimated wait time is less than 1 sec

- Agent :- Halo! Thank you for calling SBI Cards
- Me :- yoooo! Yo bro I can’t redeem my RP it no option there.
- Agent :- As I can see you have 8500 points you can redeem 8000 points for 500*4 Amazon Gift Card
- Me :- Yeah Yeah I want that ASAP (my brain telling me loot ka mauka hai translation :- opportunity to loot) 
- Agent :- I have taken your request should be done by 5th Jan. Do you have other credit cards?
- Me :- Did I do something wrong? I’m scaREEED
- Agent :- No you can transfer balance
- Me :- No no Thanks I’m not that rich
Call ends. I give 5* feedback and kg+ to the person in this thread who informed about the call and redeem thing. 
Ok so this was a joke written like that but I was able to redeem my points via IVR. Hope they process it 
That means only app redemption has been removed.
No devaluation for now.
Yes for app and website both removed which means they’re restructuring the rewards system

It seems like a gimmick by SBI 
and rather they might increase the reward points value once a good number of people have redeemed their huge pending points. 
officially its not mentioned anywhere regd the devaluation.

As of now, there are no charges.

SBI card app doesn’t show rewards. I have 3900 points. Am I missing something?
My cousin has SimplySAVE and for him 6800 points = 1000 FK voucher
8000 points = 1000 Amazon
I have SimplyClick card and I always redeemed 2000 points to 500 Amazon voucher as and when I reached 2000 points.
As there was no redemption charge.
I hope there is no change in this.
Right now have just 1154 points.

Sbi cc customer care say we can’t take your request to redeem reward points on ivr please send a email for the same through Sbicard app 
Some people are reporting that the points have devalued and the new system is reflecting in the SBI Cards App.
It has not yet changed in the website though.
So it seems what OP said was true and saved us. Can anyone confirm?
Don’t see it yet in sbi cards app.
I don’t think there’s anything to support this claim. The points are not devalued. I got the same number of points for my shopping. Also redeemed my points by calling cc. Points redemption option is not available in app/website but can be done with cc. That’s the only change as of now. So no need to worry.
