SBI Credit card transaction above the assigned limit
After going through many post on DD, I have paid extra amount towards my credit card and tried to make a transaction above my credit card limit.
But
Payment got declined. Got SMS from sbicard that “Transaction declined as you have crossed your domestic online trxn limit of Rs. X”
X= my credit card limit
Has anyone got success in recent time?

Login to Sbicard portal (web) or Android App & check Online Transaction Limit
If you’re unable to increase it (even w/ excess credit limit).. then its not possible (By default, it is set to Max credit limit)

My friend did a transaction of 2k over his card limit by paying extra in advance but this was 3-4 months ago. Which method you used to add extra fund to card, adding money directly via sbi card own app/site using sbi debit card/account is the recommended method for such cases?

I am under impression that we can add required amount and do whatever the transaction required irrespective of limit. I never tried such option till today. Off topic: I am not even able to do the under limit transaction with BoB Prime Credit card, for that CC saying so many things which are irrelevant.
My sbi card also failed my limit is 30k tried to buy 2.5 lakh oled tv by prepaying the amount task failed successfully. Currently only onecard allows to prepay the amount and increase the limit
