Dear Cardholder,
This is to inform you that Reward Points accrued on transactions eligible for Instant Discount and Cashback offers will be forfeited as per T&Cs of the Offer Program. Reward points will be forfeited for all transactions done during offer period and considered for Offer computation.
In case a cardholder does not have adequate Reward Points balance at the time of forfeiture, an amount equal to the deficit in the Reward Points will be debited from his / her credit card account.
In case of any other query, would request you to please contact the SBI Card Helpline at 39 02 02 02 (prefix local STD code) or 1860 180 1290.
Warm regards,

First will ask for bifurcation of deducted cashback, how much for individual transaction. Then will cross verify them with intimation date, if transaction date is preceding, which I am sure they are, then will lodge complaint with RBI Ombudsman.
If deemed necessary, one can also appeal to Consumer Court after lodging complaint on ConsumerHelpline.

I purchased 25k Amazon gv from amazon site through sbi cb card and i got 1250 cb. Its will reverse?
What jeevan16 said about reversal was for an old amazon transaction where 10% instant discount offer was on for SBI card.
What you are asking have no instant discount, so we have no idea or any hint from anybody about any reversal of such transaction. Neither SBI has any terms specifying that such txn is invalid.

Now my confusion got resolved! ICICI Amazon pay card is way better than any other credit cards in India!!
Yes but when you pay on time,, if you miss payment and pay minimum due, thay will charge annual interest in single bill i.e., 7-8% overall, I paid this, learnt a big lesson.

I did ask for bifurcation from sbi customer care. They are shit. Just giving explanation for debit and not giving the transaction list. I have escalated this issue to nodal. Now waiting for the update from them. If no satisfactory answer is given them will again escalate to principal nodal officer. After than RBI is the last hope. They should have provided the transaction bifurcation by default.
SBI has gone mad totally they didnt waived my annual fee for both simplysave and click even after spending the requisite amount for the cycle

I thought only SBI cashback cards reward points they are debiting reward points but shocked to see simply click
Even I see the same shit in my SBI simply click card... I think we all Dimers facing this should unite and someone who is good at drafting skills can help with an email template that we can send to SBI .... so when they receive it they know the real count of customers they can loose ...... how many agree?

Yes bifurcation must be provided otherwise how can we cross check check. Please let me know what reply you will get from nodal or principal nodal officer
I think its the time to settle the dues and close the SBI cashback card as soon as possible, before any further deduction starts

No use. SBI isn't closing accounts (at least for couple of months). RBI might help (due to new guidelines effective from rom July 1,22) in situations like these but then it is still complicated (Unless SBI confirms the line has been closed)

That is why I never consider RPs/cb when giving card to friends/relatives for sale offers. Keep it simple, give your card & ask friend/relative to pay whatever amt is showing after instant discount.
Isn't it for SBI CB Card, the given 'instant discount' was forfeited and debited from the Card. Hence, you'll still be in a loss of around 5.5%, as per simple terms for F&F you follow.

My around 2500 points were debited only. Can someone explain to me the exact reason?

Basically, SBI is playing God.
I hope the play ends with a big regulatory punishment for SBI, being a dictator in a democratic country.

SBI did nothing like that and they know it's bad for them, so when they sent out emails about this forfeiture, they clearly stated transaction following 7th October 2022, now when you check the same link it'll say no date. They changed that now. So they know they are at fault by this.
Most of us, including me haven't received any intimation personally, so that's another important rule that is broken.
SBI should undergo serious investigation by RBI to put a stop to it's dictatorship practices.
How should we protest against this SBI cashback KAAND ?

Make it spread, make it spread like fire. Start a constructive online petition for publicity and retweet it until the regulators are well informed about their unethical practices.
😞😭

Request all concerned to raise complain through their app, portal or email and escalate to the topmost officer. Why should a customer suffer for their mistake. All they provide is RPs/vouchers for most cards and now debit cash in return, which is totally unacceptable.
