Fraudsters built ivr and taking otp from customers and doing fraud with their Paytm Postpaid account.
Here is the full story.
I got call from +918035067099 this number, saying that automatic announcement 'Hi We have got your request to change postpaid number, if you not requested then dial 1 , if you are doing then disconnect the call.' Posting selecting option 1, getting the message 'please enter your otp to confirm you are not requested'
The same time I got otp on mobile, immediately I disconnected the call by not entering any otp.
The sms from Paytm only, but that's for different action, the sms is '<#> OTP is xxxxxx to link your Paytm Account to Blinkit. T&Cs: https://paytm.me/B...h0 . Do not share OTP with anyone. Not you? Report paytm.com/care -'
After that continuously I got 5 calls, I didn't picked any call.
See how fraudsters are playing with customers and linking their Paytm postpaid with any merchant and doing fraud.
Luckily I escaped and gave request to Paytm to close postpaid account.
So please aware and do not enter any otp on automated ivr call.

after mobikwik zip now it's paytm postpaid
Similar large scale frauds already happened with Simpl Paylater and Mobikwik Zip. Soon you will find thread of victims of Paytm Postpaid on DD & Twitter in next few days.
I have closed all postpaid pay later accounts after this alert
The major disadvantage in postpaid pay later is we cannot turn off or set transaction limits
for online transaction. Also the chargeback is very difficult incase of any fraud occurs. They simply deny any chargeback saying it is authorised with OTP.
God Grace u have escaped anyway block those numbers to be on safer side

No way to block such calls. Infact in earlier Simpl/Mobikwik cases fraudsters used VOIP to make these IVR calls which enabled them to spoof the incoming Caller ID to display customer care numbers of Simpl, Mobikwik, Reliance Digital etc. Victims fell into the trap on seeing incoming call from actual customer care number.
By the way, who is the one who selected "I got trapped" in this scam?
Me too got this, reported to paytm but no response
Today I received call again from different number, same types of message.
