@BubbleBoyChickenLittle @MrKool_JJ Just want to know why the market fall/crash after budget? Is government try to discourage market by their policies? Just a noob question. If possible explain with an example please.

The people who are waiting for the crash then that’s not gonna happen unless war or something big like corona happens again. Of course 10-15 % correction can happen anytime soon.

Bad GDP numbers, slow moving economy and lot more…
We are already in overbought stage right now and the budget would just be an another reason for everyone to sell off since no one is expecting anything from Nirmalaji.
PS – I hope i am wrong lol toungueout
Till then, enjoy minting money wink

So is it best time to invest till month end?

I’m planning to invest in Tata powers, HBL Powers and Standard Batteries for long term. Is it the right time? Are they provide multi bagger returns?
Please suggest

There is no best time to start good things in life including investing, so invest but go slowly.
Start with 20-25% investment,
and when you see crashing prices and you feel the company will outperform irrespective of index crashing, invest and buy more on dips.
When you see markets rising and your holdings are performing way better than markets, but you feel your stocks are overpriced, cash out without giving a damn if it moves upward.

This may sound very simple in theory but while practising in real market, your own emotions messes with this proven theory.

There is nothing like long term investment, you have to revisit your investments after 3-4 years.

You should not regret when you sell your holdings, and not loose patience when everyone is jumping to stock market for 1 ka 2.

Don’t seek tips like this, what miracles you are expecting in just one week,
Investment aise nahi kiya jata
Kabhi market crash ho to badi opportunity banti hai, buy fundamentally strong stocks on dips and sit on them

Go with the excellent suggestion given above by @Original

Always keep in mind that many people make lakhs & crores in share market but only a few become Jhunjhunwala & Damani. Never run after the craze of multi-baggers, focus on getting more than 2-3 times of the annualized return on best savings/fd interest rates of the time.

No no, markets anticipate things but Govt harasses it. So, market becomes sad for a while.

How does one see something as an overpriced bet? What’s the reasoning behind that analysis???
If a stock moves up by 400 points, that does not make it overpriced. In the longer run, good stocks keep on going up n up. Check Asian Paints, Hul etc. They didn’t go up overnight. They slowly went up, then fell too, but they got back on their feet n they are still going up.
If we are talking from short term prospective, then use 50 EMA concept, if stock breaches 50 EMA, in downwards it goes down, if it breaches 50 EMA it continues to go up, n if stays above 50 EMA the uptrend continues n stays below 50 EMA the downtrend continues, if it approaches 50EMA, it most likely bounces. So, 50 EMA works as a dynamic support or resistance. 🙂🙂🙂 This will help your study
