Set UPI transaction limit in Yono Lite SBI

STEP 1: Go to SBI Yono Lite mobile app and login to your account using MPIN or internet banking user Id and password.

STEP 2: Now you are logged in to your SBI account. On the top of the page you will see an option ‘UPI Transfer’. Click on this option here.

STEP 3: As you click on UPI Transfer you will be redirected to another page. In this page you will see some other options under UPI Transfer. Click on the option ‘Set UPI Transaction Limit’ out of them.

STEP 4: In this new page you are asked to enter your internet banking transaction password. Enter the password here and submit.

STEP 5: In this step you will see the existing transaction limit of your UPI transaction. You are asked to enter new UPI transaction limit and confirm new UPI transaction limit. Enter both details on the boxes. Keep in mind that the limit should be up to Rs. 100000. Rupees 1Lakh is the maximum limit provided by SBI. Finally click on ‘submit’.

STEP 6: It will ask you to confirm the details once. Check the details you have entered and click on ‘Confirm’ button.

STEP 7: An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number with bank. Enter the OTP here and click on ‘submit’.

STEP 8: An message will be displayed ‘your UPI transaction limit has been set successfully’

There is no need to set UPI transaction limit because UPI is more secure than Card transactions.

After sbi , i found bank of baroda is also having upi limit per month and per day settings. Also block spam upi id. That is a good feature if spamers send payment request.
