Thinking if I should buy a car? Or should continue with OLA UBER?

May consider buying car if some good discount offer. (Don’t want loan offer)

Any offers @ Mumbai

Open to PM

Updates:

  1. Price range – Basic (around 6L)
  2. Daily distance: 50-100 km per week
  3. Would prefer Maruti/Hyundai due to servicing
  4. Looking for some year end deal or too good deal with discount like @goss8877 had shared years ago at https://www.desidime.com/deals/never-before-nis...

Would depend on various factors (usage, traffic conditions of city, availability of driver, etc.)

Buy a Nexon EV. Get solar in your house with or without govt subsidy.
Travel as much as you want without worrying about petrol and diesel rates.

What about High cost of battery replacement after 3-5 years…😂

How much KM are you planning to drive per month in city ? If it is less ..just continue using Uber/ola…they are still more economical…

People have petrol cars now and indian govt is screwing people with High petrol rates. So now everyone wants to buy EV and once everyone has EV I trust this govt to screw us again with some absurd taxes or something for owning EV.
India may be only country in world then which penalizes you to own EV.
People will still say “Modi ji ne kiya hai to kuch soch ke hi kiya hoga”.

Country like India should penalize you for even owning a 4 wheeler. .(just like Singapore)

Buy Jaguar, Porsche or at least Harrier. Don’t settle for any else.

I would personally never go for Maruti due to pathetic safety rating.
Everything else is secondary.

Given the new car scrapping laws, how to evaluate 2nd hand cars now?

Old cars are risky? or would we get it very cheap?
