dont, some of the google perks are not available in india
Recommending a Pixel Phone as of now is a bit difficult. Whatever you decide, do consider these few points before you make your purchase:
- How many service centers does Google have in India?
- Pixel phones are still unable to run 5G, unlike all other brands.
- The Pixel 7 doesn't provide the best performance for its price.
- Its display has a refresh rate of 90 Hz, not acceptable for this price.
- It's difficult to find back covers and other accessories for Google Pixel phones as of now.
- The only thing that the Pixel 7 would excel at is its camera setup, right? But it's still not the best camera phone for its price, it's debatable.
I am a Pixel 7 owner let me reply to the points raised:

- How many service centers does Google have in India? - Yes there is only one service center in Mumbai. if you are living in mumbai then u can go directly otherwise there is pickup/drop service. TAT is more i agree.
- Pixel phones are still unable to run 5G, unlike all other brands.- They have enabled in beta. Latest March feature update is around the corner, delayed a bit will. will come either tonight or next monday.
- The Pixel 7 doesn't provide the best performance for its price.- if u r not into hardcore gaming like PUBG, this will easily handle all games. PUBG will run too but long hrs will lead to heating. not lagging
- Its display has a refresh rate of 90 Hz, not acceptable for this price.- 90hz is not an issue and you will not experience even 1 sec u r having low refresh rate. i am coming from oneplus 8t having 120 hz. so no difference
- It's difficult to find back covers and other accessories for Google Pixel phones as of now.- Using Ringke Matte Clear has best protection even for camera bump
- The only thing that the Pixel 7 would excel at is its camera setup, right? But it's still not the best camera phone for its price, it's debatable.- Best camera in all lighting conditions. check out youtube reviews then comment. Beats Samsung and iphone in major parts.
Only con which u missed to point is charging speed. it take 1 hr 30 mins approx from 0 to 100. if u r coming from apple/samsung u wont feel the pain.
A dimer had recently posted a pic of him sitting in the B2X (which handles aftersales for Pixels) service center in Thiruvananthapuram!

Your comment explains my entire point. Pixel 7 doesn't provide the best performance, the best display, the best battery backup, and charging speed, so the only thing that goes for it is its camera setup. So if the OP's priority is getting a great camera setup by sacrificing other aspects of the phone, he can get it. But for sure, it is not the best value-for-money phone for that price. Not saying that it's bad, but for the same price, there are some other phones that are more of a complete package when compared to the Pixel 7.
PS: Pixel phones perform worse than the competition when it comes to portrait photos.

About Service center, it is handled by 3rd party if I'm wrong and there has been a long history of bad customer experience with them (barring small % of good customer experiences)
Any Android mobile phone anywhere near that asking price is a tremendous waste of money. In fact, if one is wise and awake then he/she shouldn't spend more than 20k or thereabouts behind Android.
Coming to your query, you didn't mention what's your priorities. If they are having a solid camera (yeah it's still the best even after release of s23 at least in still photography), consistent and smooth software (the closest to iOS that will ever be albeit without some important add ons such as lack of call recording and so on), best haptics on Android side – by all means, go for it. But, after sales is a nightmare should you be that unlucky fellow, battery is just okay should you require a 2 day phone, and then there's that never ending QC issues, which is hilarious as Google has never been able to get it together, I mean with the P7 I'm sure you are aware of the camera glass cracking issue.
So there you go. Decide now you.
Came across a poster on Ars who mentions that even in it's home country Google's service coverage is quite miserable. Apparently it's hardware division ranks pretty low when it comes to Google's priorities. Hence the QA issues plaguing nearly every product.
