Should i close ICICI Platinum CC?

Hello dimers,
As i wanted to build my cibil, i applied for secured icici platinum and now its 6 months old and while applying for platinum cc i didn't knew that I'll not get any pre approved offer from icici even if i maintain good amb. Also icici amazon also got rejected due to this.
So should i close my icici cc now as my credit score is above 760 now and wait some months for pre approved offer from icici or should i try to ask in branch for removal of lien on platinum or should i keep it for full one year and close near fd maturity?
Also suggest some cards that can be approved without submission of itr.

Maintain good balance like 2-3 lacs in HDFC within 3 months u get pre-approved CC

u can close FD after getting HDFC card

HDFC card does not report limit to cibil so not recommended as first/only credit card unless pay immediately after use.

Reason for decline of amazon card is not that you already have a icici credit card.

Branch will never remove lien

Close platinum card and wait for pre-approved popup or try to apply amazon card from a good amazon account which is old and regularly used

If option "already having an icici credit card" selected then it doesn't matter from which amazon acc the application is done because only existing icici card bin will be used for deciding instant approval/rejection of amazonpay card.

Some saying keep fd based for generating amazon cc, some saying close and wait for pre approved, so confusing.

Should i close it bcz till now it's a fact that icici will never give pre approved offer as long as fd cc is there.

Yes you have to close your existing ICICI scored credit card for getting pre approved credit card from ICICI. I wait almost 18 months but no pre approved CC offer from ICICI. I closed thr secured card & waited like 4~5 months & got the pre-approved Coral ltf then next month I got Apay card.
