Should I close my Amazon pay later account?

My CIBIL score is 795 (on 12/3/23 as per OneScore) but my Experian score is dropped recently from above 800 to 700 approx. That's why I was thinking to close Amazon pay later account. I dont know I am right or wrong.

Please advice.

Thank you for the form, have submitted for closure.

It was opened only in Nov (dont even remember giving consent) and missed one payment as I was not even aware of having paid thru Pay Later service. No drop in CIBIL but Experian is down to 730. Having said that, cant trust Experian as it keeps fluctuating between 770 to 720 every few months.

What is the reason for that drop ?

Late repayment? Or too many inquiries ?

No late payment till now.
Closed 2 credit cards recently. This may be the only reason.

Received Amazon pay later closure confirmation mail from Amazon yesterday. Account is showing Blocked in Amazon app.

How to confirm that it is closed permanently not blocked?

Great, Yes the account shows blocked only but I think it will be updated on your cibi/ experian as closed within a month. Do you have two entries - capfloat and karur vysya ? If so, please make sure both are closed.

Offtopic: My cibil came down from 800 to 778 suddenly after applying for 3 cards in the same month. However 1 card was rejected and each card shows 2 enquiries. Anyway to improve again or remove extra enquiries?

Oh I think from experience it comes down due to cibi hits in less duration, generally will come back with regular payments and limited credit usage but don't think will go back to 800
