And hackers did electricity bill payment of 19k approx. I contacted customer care of Amazon. They were too much responsive and serious about my issue. I have compained with electricity boards with the bill pdfs and screenshots of fraudlent transactions, also shared the same with simpl on twitter as well on email. Let see if they reverse. I dont want to thing about it again and again as its makes my mood off.
Got at least 10 calls from this number - 98494 87079 saying that I requested a number change on my simpl account and it was an automated call, and they were trying to impersonate that they are from simpl. The call said that "you requested a number change, if you want the number to change please disconnect the call, if you did not do the request please share the 4 digit otp, when I chose the latter, I pressed 1, I got the 4 digit otp" and from history we have always learnt not to share the otp. so I disconnected the call, it was very smart of them. but they kept pestering me every 2 mins with the same thing
will close my account today with SIMPL
This is why I don't use new apps and upi even with all the lucrative cashbacks back them.
I would rather use my debit card, netbanking and good ol' cash on delivery.
