Hello Dimers

Recently "Simpl Paylater" increased my credit limit from 5k to 6k around 4 days back

I have been using Simpl Paylater for quite some time, but till date I can't able to find Simpl credit limit shown as credit account in CIBIL

I am full kyc user of Simpl as well but still my credit report is missing Simpl account

So anyone with Simpl Paylater facing this issue?

Please do comment as it will help to sort it out

If my memory serves right, as far as i remember Simpl paylater never asked my PAN to do full kyc, it only used my aadhaar i think, so i guess thats why

but now I want it to show on my credit report, but i don't know how to do so

I am not given any info like aadhar, PAN to Simpl. Because they not asked at that time long back. Still I not given. Not sure about new users

for me they asked me once to do aadhaar kyc i think to increase limit or something like that in past (if my memory serves right) so i voluntarily did it at that time (but ya Simpl dont need any KYC even today for new users, i think)

keeping Simpl paylater active till date , because some users are using some loot in it, which i dont know and non of the users i know who use Simpl are sharing it (keeping it as IF some closed money rotation loot)

dont know how Simpl is not forced to be under any credit agency by RBI

Simpl doesn’t report to any credit bureau. That’s the reason most people keep it active. Other BNPL report to CIBIL under the head of personal loan, which is kind of harmful for cibil score.

I would say harm or good depends, varies person to person on how one stands in using their own credit account they already have

its based on how one stands on using credit accounts in my opinion

well in my opinion having it reported is good as we get more number of credit accounts active in way achieves "different credit mix"

but many claims paylaters are draggers in cibil (which i am yet experimenting)

I am already having and checking things

1) amazon paylater in cibil

2) lazy pay paylater in cibil

so trying to have different set of accounts for credit mix

(side note: sadly credit mix only have around 10% weightage in cibil mostly)
