Hi all, Ive recently started following siridhanya lifestyle and it has worked wonders smile just want to connect and discuss with fellow dimers who follow the same ! It has really opened my eyes around how we have been fooled and driven by the industrial food culture. For those who dont know what siridhanya means, it refers to 5 positive millets 1.Little millet 2.Kodo millet 3.Browntop millet 4. Foxtail millet 5. Barnyard millet following major foods need to be avoided (will shock many): 1. Grains - All types of wheat, all types of rice whether brown,red,black etc, soya , sweet corn 2. Milk - All animal based milk like A1/A2 cow milk, buffalo milk , goat milk etc 3. Sweetener - Any sugarcane based products like refined sugar, sugarcane jaggery, raw sugar, brown sugar , stevia , honey 4. Oils - All refined oils There are many other things which we should avoid. dr khadar vali is a renowed scientist who has worked towards promoting the siridhanya millets and healthy lifestyle . He doesnt do business and you can buy unpolished millets from anywhere. Buchi-processed millets are even better!

Great..will be more beneficial if all animal based products like non veg food are also avoided . Human beings alimentary canal is not designed for consumption of such foods🙏

In market, there are both polished and unpolished varieties and its really important to buy unpolished ones only..Ask the shopkeeper for unpolished ones. If still not got, there is supplier list on sirijeevan website, you can check them out for latest rates and purchase.

Millets should be consumed mainly as ambali (fermented porridge) but you can use them like any other grains - roti,rice,idli etc, there are ample millet recipes available online

In short leant about this vicious cycle:

1. Humans in the name of standardization, modernization, industrialization have left no stone unturned in transforming foods from thier natural forms to processed forms for their greed of earning wealth & money without considering its negitive impact on their health and the environment

2. Learnt how we get lured into buying such processed things in the name of discounts and low prices by clever marketing techniques.

3. Over time as we consume such foods, all the toxins from these slowly keep on accumulating inside our body and we are made to realise how beneficial it is to have health insurance..

4. As we turn old, we are struck with various diseases due to toxins accumulated in our body over the years which now shows its true effect .

5. Then we have the doctors and hospitals already ready for us where we shell out our money we earned in our lives..we now try all those natural things etc but its too late when you realize..

As per Dr khadar, if we just follow in our ancestors footprints and adopt their lifestyle and consume these 5 wonderful ancient grains, we will be able to lead a happy life. In one of his sayings, he says if everybody starts following siridhanya lifestyle, more than 50% of the worlds hospital will get shut !
