1) What’s the difference between these models?
2) Are both compatible with U41-70 ?

Be sure to get one with DRAM cache. Mx500 is great. Samsung 860 Evo too

Counter-intuitively, the TLC-based Samsung 840 Series outlasted those MLC casualties to write over 900TB before failing suddenly. But its reallocated sectors started piling up after just a few hundred terabytes of writes, confirming TLC’s more fragile nature.
Interesting.. Seems they are using some tricks not used in older MLC drives to be able to write more data with TLC chips even though endurance is less than half..
