Hi Guys need help regarding Standard Chartered Credit Card,
Which will be more beneficial , please suggest.
Below options are available right now.

Titanium credit card with 5% cash back on petrol, telecom and utility bill payments, and reward points on other categories
OR
Platinum Rewards with 5x rewards points for every INR 100 spent

Cards usage will be only for SC CC specific offers, If any additional benefit then also good,
as wont be spending much on it.
But still interested to know which one of these can provide more value in terms of RP

And any idea on the Lounge Access on Both The Cards ?

Well, you need to analyse your transaction history and see what category of txns are best suited for your mix and accordingly decide.
There’s a cap on titanium credit card cashback per month

I do not have SCB cards.
Pick the one which LTF or cheap as u would use it only for offers.
Platinum Rewards with 5x rewards points for every INR 100 spent” I do not see this mentioned anywhere on SCB website
Its “Earn 5 reward points for every INR 150 spent on dining and fuel with no monthly cap on the rewards earned using this rewards credit card.”

I was a standard chartered titanium user, but stopped using it for thinking reasons.

1. Fuel cashback is on max 4000 or 5000 value.

2. Bill payment cashback is only if pay via SCB bill pay Portal.

3. My credit limit is 25000 since ten years (they don’t increase it, no late payments ever)

Any card with zero charges on fuel transactions on all pumps in India ?

Hi Bro Manhattan – u get 5% upto 150 per transaction and upto 500 per month on supermarkets + 3 rp on other spends of above for every Rs.150

Annual fee – 999 – Fee reversal on 1.2 lak spend

Super Value Titanium – 5% Cashback on bills and petrol upto 100 per transaction and upto 500 per month. But fuel filling amount should be less than 2000 per transaction max 200 per month and on bills it should be done Scb bill pay section alone. On fuel filling u get only 4% after 1% surcharge waiver. 1 rp per 150 spend on other categories.

Launge access only for premium banking customers.

Annual fee – 750 – Fee reversal on spend of 90k

Platinum rewards – 5 rp on fuel and dining of every 150 spend. Other categories 1 rp. Annual fee – 250 – Fee reversal on spend of 60 k Basically scb 3.6 rp = 1 rupee based on voucher redemption section but differes voucher to voucher (fk, amz not there for long time)

If u need only for card offer and have much benefit providing cards on Grocery and fuel then better go for Platinum rewards as it is less annual fee and fee reversal limit.

Any card with zero charges on fuel transactions on all pumps in India ?

I feel Cashback on Fuel is on any amount below 2000 / day or may be / payment
and for achieving a limit of 4000 we need fuel spends of 80K or 1 Lakh , which i
feel is pretty rare to achieve for a Person with Limited Fuel spends
No Card With Zero Charges , Paytm Has Zero Charges and Widely Acceptable (No idea what happened to the trend of Mobile radiation causing fire outbreak in Petrol Pumps)

@beastboy If you are just looking for SCB specific offers as the sole reason then I suggest don’t go for it. If you are able to reach the spend limit to waive of the annual charges then go for any card which ever you think is the best for you according to your spend with a max annual charges of 1k. Usually most prefer manhattan card.

Note: They no longer provide LTF cards

@beastboy I would suggest not to go for these cards unless it’s provided LTF; reason being: your reason for getting is only for bank specific offers, which means you surely will not be able to get the annual fee waived off. Paying 799-999 for a card that you hardly use on a specific occasion is a waste; better skip it, StanC offers ain’t that common, also dimers can always lend you once in a while.

4000 is the transaction value and not the cashback amount……

So above 4000 (or 5000) you pay surcharge……

5% upto 200 means maximum transaction of 4000 per month is covered….. and max 100 per transaction means, 2000 Ka 2 transaction per month, that’s it

They used to give LTF cards left and right at one time. I think now they have stopped.
Platinum Rewards doesn’t even have fuel surcharge waiver.

It is a good card if you are going to use it mainly for grocery and departmental stores shopping as it gives 5% cashback and 3x reward points when you spend.

The cashback applicable on min. transaction of 1000 or more. Max cashback of 500 is allowed
every month and of 150 per transaction

3X on all other spends per 150. Value of each point ranges from ~0.25 depending on what you redeem for
