Status of AliExpress parcels in India w.r.t. customs?

Hi,
I need to buy some items from AliExpress which are not available anywhere in India, or are absurdly expensive.
Are all the AliExpress parcels getting stuck at customs clearance? Did anybody receive their parcel after March this year?
Do they charge custom duty or everything, even genuine $10 items?

I was about to order few items worth around 50 dollars, but now I’m not so sure.
