i was wondering why various toll free calls are not connecting from my Airtel number but easily from Jio number.
today i came to know there are two category of toll free numbers
1. starting with 1800
these are free completely.
2. category is premium numbers used by various financial institution for phone banking / support
starting with 1860
Jio is not charging anything for dialing these numbers.
while airtel is charging 1 to 2rs per minute depending upon number.
these calls are usually long and you can end up paying a lot of money on Airtel.
kindly confirm other operator users.
e.g. ICICI credit card helpline 1860 120 7777
THIS IS ONE MORE REASON TO STAY AWAY FROM CHORTEL OR AVOID.
ALL CALLS MADE VIA 4G VOLTE MUST BE FREE.

On an avg how much time r u taking to consume ur 1000 mins jio to non jio calls..
If we divide 1000/84 we get around 12 mins/day outgoing calls to non jio sims only….
While airtel is not having any restriction…………………………
I don’t want their 2gb/day data but calling is something important as far as my mom’s usage is concerned o.O
I read that from 1/1/20 TRAI will scrap this shit. If that’s done then i guess everything should be back to normal i hope i am right….
Go to other network… Jio is best for data users not voice users.
ALL private bank have insurance from some private provider . which basically limit their liability in case of any financial urgency to 1LAkh only (HDFC even put a seal with that info) so better go with big PSU banks for serious matter like salary
all PSU banks also ALSO provide maximum insurance cover of 1 lakh only, even though they may give other impressions. and PSU banks are forced to give high risk loans by their political bosses so chances of NPA is also higher
I read it in newspaper but that doesn’t change the fundamental situation/what I said earlier. Can you give me a guarantee that your bank’s chairman would rather resign than submitting to a direct call from a powerful central minister recommending a loan approval to a major industrialist group which failed to raise the entire amount from pvt sector banks? If yes then I will gladly accept your argument else I agree to disagree to your view point.

there was some news neeti ayog has recommded sbi should be only PSU , remaining to privatized.
this govt just doing this unwanted things to timepass and suffer people.
many indians are against govt banks , they will realize its importance once they dont have access to PSU any more.
Private banks were the banks where all of cash exchange happened during DEMO , no single case involved of PSU as far i can remember due to its practices.
maximum exchange happened at cooperative banks actually, particularly those where a particular politician from Gujarat was a director.
but there has been several instances of underhand dealings in PSU bank also, depending upon the branch location.
Guys Vodafone/Airtel previously used to charge pro rata rates for data after the data balance is exhausted. Currently Jio goes back to slow speed.. at least we are not charged hefty amounts. Do Avoid follow Jio’s practices or they still cut premium rates? Wondering about prepaid.
I think the usual data rate is applied but not sure.I don’t remember seeing the low fup speed mentioned in any daily unlimited data pack of airtel/voda/idea.
all things remain equal . SBI nahi dubega .it is the oldest and largest bank and defacto bank of govt for all scheme and all ;it also have branches andATM in almost remote part of country ; sbi guys the best among all banking exam (SBO PO is the top choice) so i trust it with all my large % money
