I have been following DD since 2012 anonymously and Recently a toxic culture developed where people asking why & how someone trading an item without intention of buying it. It really hurts /wastes Dimer time in answering these .Guys if you have no intention of buying things don't ask these questions about how a dimer is able to sell it cheaper. Everyone does not sell it for profit , some sell it to get investment. Also everyone will not reveal trick if they are selling for profit. myself experienced the same and have seen others experienced it.
Also DD is the place where most of dimers help each other .it is a friendly community where some people even help without any benefit and we should not develop these kind of culture here. it is solely my opinion.
PS->Myself exchanged Swiggy and other vouchers for paytm from different dimers but never asked how they get it cheaper and what is their profit. Value time/helping nature of dimers without doubting/assessing their profits unless some one cheating if you don't want to trade.

All ask bcz if it's legal or illegal.. no one want get stolen items. .maybe the reason.. 2nd thought they want know source so they can get it without buy from u..personally I prefer leagl items also.. but dont ask if seller is reputated.. as most are trusted..

no bro , people who are asking are not buyers ..They just want to know how much profit people are getting. you did not get my point.
1. All sold in DD are legal with original invoice , Sellers in DD are not thieves to sell stolen items.
2. Again no one tells the source if they think people can buy directly without buying from him .so no point in asking the person.
Those who are asking are time pass people who just want to know whether one got cheaper using any steal deal. All steal deals now a days are myths , even Amazon/flipkart are not honoring price errors.
If nothing fishy u can always add source..deal become more trustedable when u wont hide anything. .
Trust nahi todana chahiye kisi ka.. I even sell gvs at lower price than offered better value later bcz commitment. . Trust is more important ..

bro I added price , I said I have invoice , source from where I bought .
Still 3 people made fun out of me by asking all story without buying because they just want to know how I am able to sell it cheaper.

Bhai they will be senior dimer than you, they want the source because they are More trustworthy as per DD rule, they will get from your source and sell it to make some profit.
They know that most junior people tell him source with mind anything and they will be taking its benefits.
A buyer is entitled to know at least the source of the item. If you don't want to reveal then politely decline and that would be it. You can't go around and demand all buyers on DD to never ask for source. The heck kind of demand is this ?
I feel like the source and profit margin are like trade secrets which can make you big money till it's not revealed.
Maybe you can add "source / profit margins confidential" in your trade description
Even then if you get these queries, tag them in comments and add "no intention to purchase" or something.
On the other hand, I heartily appreciate ❤️ all those dimers who share tricks for everyone to save maximum amount
@romilq @DealMan999 I revealed source and I clearly said everything but they just want to know source. you are not getting my point , some time pass DD dimers want to know how much people are earning and how without having any intention of buying.

Here is my story
I had sony X75 1.5 year old tv having some hardware issue , I went to sony service center to repair it and sell it in OLX.
Sony said they don't have spare parts temporarily available though it is relatively new TV and offered me exchange for New X75L for 70% of online price as it is their problem .
I paid in cash and got invoice and given old tv to sony service center as part of exchange.
When I listed here for relatively 11900 cheaper compared to online price(80% of new TV) , 3 of hungry dimers who does not have any intention of buying asked me entire story , I told them everything too still one wants pay invoice amount , 2 did say that they just want to know. Also seen these source questions in other threads and they are not buyers too.. They just want to know how much seller getting profit (time pass dimers).
Here I am not getting profit too . 70% of TV price I paid(invoice amount) + 10% for my OLD TV that exchanged as I listed for 80% price of new TV. Invoice clearly show exchanged TV , I did not hide anything.
These dimers are like you walk on street you find some vendor selling something you go to them ask how it works what it does everything and then say I will come tomorrow or don't have money just want to know what it is.

Do you think Dimers changed behaviour has anything to do with Covid or Vaccines?
Another Dimer asked complete story how I got Product then no response. Everyone intention is same -> Want to know how I got and they don't have intention of buying. May be they want to use the trick if I got somewhere cheaper using some deal but none had intention to buy.

my friend , you should not ask source unless you want to buy. After saying source you should atleast bargain(of course I listed for 12000 less than online price and fixed)..
After some loots listed in DD hot deals section , some people are thinking people looted items in DD hot deals section and selling it in trading section. They are asking in this sense.
none of the price errors are being honored by any online site now a days also every dimer is not a money hunger to list in trading section. some sell it here to get some reputation for nominal price or to get investment back.

Did you follow that OTTPlay Flipkart trading deal. Nobody asked that guy for source. That guy sold 1₹ code at 250₹ or higher to Dimers and later OTTPlay subscription got revoked. So asking for source might not be stupidity, it is actually a precaution

You are posting your deals to make your profit and not others.
Dont forget that you are not doing a charity by selling a TV at 70% discount.
The moment you enter to the market, you'll have to face the different different types of people. And if you dont have that patience, this market is not for you.
