If you are buying any product from chinese company like MI, Oppo,etc. You are actually paying more contributions towards china economy. To give a rough idea when you buy an Iphone (>₹40000) that has been assembled in China then you are paying $6.5 USD to china’s economy but when you buy any chinese company mobile for the same price. You are paying way more to chinese evonomy.
Takeaway:
#1.Don’t go for the cheap chinese product as it leads to impulsive buying.
#2. Stop buying chinese company product like Mi or anyother.
#3. Start buying those product which are not made in china and if that’s not possible than consider buying those product which are being assembled in china and completely avoid chinese product based companies.
Start from now and start with small.

I agree we should not use any products made in China or Made in anywhere other than India when Indian option is available.
However, uninstalling these apps will have very little impact on China, IMO.
If we want to have a permanent solution in place or if we want to harm China in any way then we need to make better things than them so that not only we will go Swadeshi but other countries also use our creations. This will help in our economic growth as well.
By the way, in the current time every other electronic gadget we have in our home are made in China or at least assembled in China, the toys our children play with are mostly made in China. The list will get much longer and there is no point of mentioning here as everyone knows that already.
The government’s strategy plays a major role and our politicians are mostly uneducated so you can’t expect much from them.
This is my personal opinion. Others may vary from it.
In our local, there is a saying which translates to following-
Biting the vessel when you don’t get the medicine.
In my opinion lets start with minimal damage first by uninstall the apps
And the second thing is goverment cannot ban imports from china completely as due to WTO

Few months ago, i purchased “evidson” earphone just by seeing “good ratings (4+ at that time given by many users)” and “made in India” tag. And guess what? It stopped working within a month.

There are good Indian products as well. Though the point is to look whether it is Made in china or not. You can also buy from other Foreign brands as well.
Boat is Indian company. Jbl is korean company.
And I know all people won’t be able to do the same due to the cost saving etc. Just dont discourage the others ones and you can do where it is possible for you. Even if 10% or 20% do it, or there is 10 or 20% impact, the things will start changing.
Mi OnePlus can be cheap, but they are nothing in terms of quality and durability in front of Samsung.
On one hand we say, we want jobs or why my business fails in India – On the other hand we buy made in China products and even discourage the others who support made in India. 😂😂

I’m mostly in agreement with you.
People see these kind of threads and start fighting. Change is a gradual process and doesn’t happen in a day or month. We don’t need to throw Chinese products right away. For me the start was with Uc browser, I remember using it back in the days when through it we were able to browse/download for free but once I got to know about their data policy and all and got better alternative, I stopped using it. Same thing happened with cam scanner. You just need to make changes one at a time, OF COURSE IF YOU WANT TO, and over the course who knows, maybe we’ll be using Indian products with better quality and price in the near future.

There is no concept of zero day vulnerability and with just simple developer setting we can stop any app by popular china to sniff our data. So cool.
Even Malwarebytes or any antivirus can’t claim security against 100% attacks as they only patch bug after virus comes on their radar.
Please don’t Promote any Chinese v products here. We have to salute our nation and give moral support to our soldiers.
You can help the nation and the soldiers by helping build a stronger economy, not by boycotting Chinese products. All the computers and internet you use, has its products made in China and it won’t be changing for the foreseeable future. So, if you want to boycott China, go seclude yourself.
