Better to have these than have sugar if you cannot imagine your life (tea /coffee /sweets) without sugar and prefer to have raised /twisted blood sugar.

You don't need to know another layman's views. Check each ingredient on a medical website or with a doctor and avoid if possible.

Two of them on your list are actually as harmful as sugar for a diabetic person.

Paji for people who have sugar and suppose they want sugar free biscuits with tea then these ingredients are similar like sugar in spiking glucose level in blood?

All of these ingredients cannot be referred to as sugar alternatives as per fda but here every sugar free product have these. Which two ingredients are you talking about paji?

These are more harmful than sugar itself.

Try to leave sugar and it's artificial substitute.

Sugarfree means no sugar nd substitute (chemical), though u can use natural like jaggery, dates, khand/bura, stevia (some says it's effect is yet to be proved).

Avoid artificial sugar at any cost, instead of that use jaggery or rock candy in the milk/tea/coffee.

So all ingredients mentioned by me are bad ad sugar itself? Then why are they allowed to use the word sugar free?

Unfortunately some of these ingredients are everywhere like in hajmola candy too, which has mango and imli flavour. Though they don't advertise themselves as sugar free

Jaggery is same as sugar with organic impurities. No sugar means one has to choose ones with high low glycemic index/ stevia like stuff.

I was writing more for such people who would rather take 2 medicines than part with sugar....

Then there are some rare blessed souls who don't like sugar at all!

Health wise? To be honest, we just don't know what chemical locha is going on inside the body.

Young kids, even toddlers on insulin injections. Some elderly or super duper close to hitting century or with a foot on the grave oldies having no BP /Sugar issues.

Sugar is a lesser evil compared to maida (biscuits /pizza)

Maltitol and emulsifiers. The rest I can't remember or haven't come across in labels or forgotten.

Stevia is also harmful for some. And even natural sugars like in homemade fruit juice, etc are dangerous for those diabetes is high. If diabetes is under control then one can enjoy an occassional sweet food. My aunt does that now and so did my late grandmother.

Sugar is of two kinds ones with  low glycemic index and others with high glycemic index. Low glycemic index ones don't spike the blood sugar as much as the high glycemic ones.

Body can't metabolise artificial sweeteners, even if it does it does in small quantities. That's why some of those things are used as osmotic laxatives. Ex: lactifiber, duphalac

Stevia extract increases markers of fatty liver disease which include fibrosis and fat levels in the liver.

In 2011 Indian Government banned it and then in 2015 they revoked its ban.

Expert opinion: Natural sweeteners have not been associated directly with NAFLD, and on the contrary, some, such as stevia, and trehalose, may have a protective effect. Rare sugars and polyols can be used safely and have significant benefits that include anti-oxidant effect and optimal glycemic control. Marketing stunts and gimmicks. I'd still, any day, prefer shakkar from village (brown colour) over such artificial sweeteners.
