I’m already using a Beetel Corded landline phone which have basic features with Airtel Broadband but now the router is shifted to another place and sometimes it’s difficult to talk for a long time with corded landline phone. So please suggest a good cordless landline phone in the range upto 2k. I have few offers on Amazon and 300 off on 999 that can be used only on Tata cliq
Thanks in Advance

We had ‘National’ (later name changed to Panasonic).
Fond memories of a neighbour too having similar model and once our handset somehow took frequency of their base station and I got to listen to their daughter speaking with her cousin.
But the call ended with 5-7 minutes of I picking up our handset. I had been fiddling with the channels (radio frequencies).
Those issues have long been fixed with technological changes.
But now, local names like Beetel and others are more value for money.
Do not know of pure landline, but few years back we narrowed on a Motorola for a senior citizen aunt’s use.
I think the basic one we took did not accept JIo’s 4G band.
So our aunt used it with her BSNL SIM as a landline.
I think Moto cordless landlines too are economical.
Do check Alcatel too, if you want long lasting cordless or even mobiles.
But only some models are really great.
Get a dect cordless they have better range than 2.4ghz cordless. Try in local market where you get imported stuff like gaffar in Delhi. Prices are very less than online prices.
Are there any cordless phones with battery backup? (When power goes, the base unit gets powered off and we cannot use the cordless at present.. so is there any model with power backup for the base unit)
It has long been a common feature.
But one needs to do their own research, as other parameters might lag behind.

Panasonic cordless lasts for years. Whenever somebody asks about cordless landline, Panasonic is the only suggestion I can reliable give.
While others can be found cheaper, I have found Panasonic lasts longer and gives no headache. 10 years latter you might have to change the battery though, which is quite easily available.
Thanks for all your comments. I’m planning to buy between these two on the basis of features like speakers and featuring caller ID. Please suggest which one would be better to purchase:
